Agents do not need to be engineers.
Block Consulting provides technical discovery, solution architecture, technical meetings, proposal development and delivery expertise.
The agent’s primary responsibility is to create relationships, identify qualified opportunities and help progress them commercially.
Block Consulting provides high-demand technology services across AI, AI agents, automation, enterprise RAG, cybersecurity, custom software engineering, cloud integration and blockchain. Agents can offer clients practical solutions to current technology and transformation challenges, backed by an experienced technical delivery capability.
We offer an attractive, uncapped commission structure designed around high-value technology contracts. Typical engagements can range from £10,000 to £100,000+, with larger transformation programmes potentially reaching £250,000–£500,000+. This creates significant earning potential from a relatively small number of successful contracts.
Where an agent originates a client that enters into an eligible recurring service, retainer or ongoing contract, recurring commission opportunities can be agreed. This gives agents the potential to build ongoing commission income from successful long-term client relationships rather than relying solely on one-off projects.
Agents are not expected to be technical engineers. Block Consulting will provide onboarding across our AI, cybersecurity, software and blockchain capabilities, target markets and ideal customer profiles. Our technical team will support client discovery, technical discussions, solution design, architecture, pricing, proposals and delivery.
Agents will receive the materials and support needed to represent Block Consulting professionally, including a company email address, CRM access, capability statements, company presentations, service information, case studies, credentials, sales collateral, proposal support and access to technical leadership for qualified client meetings.
This is an independent sales agent opportunity offering significant flexibility over how and when you develop business. We are interested in experienced agents who can use their own relationships, networks and sales approach to create opportunities across the UK, without the structure of a traditional employed sales role.
We are targeting several complementary markets across the UK.
PRIVATE SECTOR
Target organisations include SMEs, mid-market businesses, enterprise organisations, financial-services companies, professional-services firms, technology companies, SaaS businesses, universities, law firms, accountancy firms, wealth-management businesses, private equity firms and their portfolio companies, M&A advisers and management consultancies.
Typical decision-makers include CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, COOs, Heads of Technology, Heads of AI, Heads of Digital, Heads of Innovation and Transformation Directors.
TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS
We are particularly interested in relationships with Microsoft partners, AWS partners, HubSpot partners, Odoo partners, Salesforce consultancies, ServiceNow partners, ERP/CRM implementation companies, Managed Service Providers, cybersecurity consultancies, software companies and digital-transformation consultancies.
Block Consulting can provide specialist AI, cybersecurity and software-engineering capability as a subcontractor, technical delivery partner or white-label engineering resource.
UK PUBLIC SECTOR
We are also developing opportunities across central government, government agencies, local government, NHS and healthcare, defence, police and emergency services, public-sector universities and other public bodies.
An important part of this strategy is developing relationships with organisations already supplying government, including government prime contractors, systems integrators, defence primes, framework suppliers, government technology consultancies and cybersecurity suppliers.
Agents specialising specifically in either private-sector technology sales or public-sector/government sales are welcome. An individual does not need to cover every market.
We are looking for experienced independent sales agents and business-development professionals with a background in technology, software, cybersecurity, AI, digital transformation or professional services.
The strongest candidates will ideally have previously worked within technology consultancies, systems integrators, software companies, cybersecurity companies, SaaS providers, cloud providers, Managed Service Providers, digital-transformation consultancies, government technology suppliers, defence technology suppliers or major technology vendors.
EXISTING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS ARE PARTICULARLY VALUABLE.
We are especially interested in experienced professionals who have spent several years developing relationships with clients and decision-makers and can legitimately reconnect with those contacts where relevant.
This could include relationships with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, Technology Directors, government buyers, government suppliers, systems integrators, defence organisations, enterprise clients, technology partners and professional-services organisations.
Someone who has spent 10–20 years selling technology solutions and now operates independently could be an excellent fit.
We value quality of relationships and commercial access over high-volume cold calling.
Block Consulting provides the technical capability behind the sale. Once an opportunity is identified, our technical team can support discovery, solution design, technical presentations, architecture, pricing, proposals and delivery.
This allows the agent to concentrate on relationships, introductions, opportunity development and commercial progression.
Contract values can range from tens of thousands of pounds to £100,000–£500,000+ technology programmes, creating significant uncapped commission potential from successful engagements.
