BaselineBuilder is construction baseline assurance software for major projects and programmes. Annual licences are approximately £7,500 (£625 pcm equivalent), with typical enterprise opportunities expected to require multiple licences. We are recruiting experienced independent sales professionals to build our international customer base, with exceptional founding-agent commissions of up to 50% on new business.
BaselineBuilder is purpose-built construction baseline assurance software. Unlike generic document review, scheduling or project-management tools, it analyses the project baseline across schedule, cost, scope and risk together, testing both the quality of the individual controls and whether the underlying project information aligns.
The result is an independent, repeatable assessment of whether a construction baseline is coherent and defensible, with identified gaps and scored assurance. BaselineBuilder also produces two substantial professional outputs: a full long-form Baseline Quality Report containing actionable findings, and a Draft Baseline Book which project teams can take forward through internal governance and approval processes.
For customers, this means finding weaknesses before they become reporting, change, claims or delivery problems. For sales professionals, it creates a focused proposition into a large and clearly identifiable market of contractors, consultants, PMCs, PMOs and clients delivering major capital projects.
Importantly, this is a deterministic analysis and assurance tool, which means that BaselineBuilder is strongly differentiated in a marketplace currently heavily populated with impressive generative AI toolsets.
Who buys BaselineBuilder?
Relevant buyers and influencers are senior project and programme leaders with responsibility for, or a strong interest in, project controls, governance, assurance, commercial outcomes and schedule performance. These can include project board members, Programme and Project Directors, Project Controls Directors, PMO leaders, Commercial Directors and other senior delivery and assurance professionals.
The product has a clear application on both sides of the contractual relationship. Contractors and consultants can use BaselineBuilder to test their own baseline before submission. Clients, PMCs and PMOs can use it to independently assess baseline information being submitted to them.
The opportunity for agents
A single licence represents a worthwhile sale, but our focus is on developing larger accounts. Initial feedback from Client, PMO and PMC teams working on Saudi mega-projects has indicated potential requirements of 3 to 7 licences within individual organisations during early discussions.
For sales completed before 1 June 2027, founding agents earn volume-based commission ranging from 30% on a single licence to 50% on sales of 5 or more licences into an account. Successful accounts also attract residual commission on their first three annual renewals.
We are looking for agents who can identify suitable organisations and projects, engage relevant senior decision makers, qualify the requirement and actively develop opportunities through to close. This is not an appointment-setting role.
Waypoint Ingenuity will provide direct product and domain-expert support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations and technical discussions with qualified customers. Agents will also have access to professional sales literature, executive briefing materials, stakeholder-specific propositions, a live demonstration environment and a growing technical literature library.
The strongest opportunity is likely to be for agents who already understand how technical software or specialist professional services are sold into major construction and infrastructure organisations. Experience with PMIS, Primavera, Safran, project controls, planning and scheduling, risk, cost, claims, project assurance or related construction technology would be particularly relevant.
BaselineBuilder operates a genuinely cross-document, cross-domain analysis and assurance engine which has not been found in the industry before. The deterministic approach supports a repeatable and defensible analysis that teams can rely upon and understand with deep transparency.
New licence sales attract 30% commission for one licence, increasing progressively to 50% for sales of five or more licences into an account. At approximately £7,500 per annual licence, successful multi-licence accounts can generate substantial commission.
Agents earn residual commission on customers they originate: 5% on the first annual renewal, 8% on the second and 10% on the third and final year of commissionable returns. This rewards agents for developing durable customer relationships as well as winning new business.
Agents receive direct onboarding and ongoing access to BaselineBuilder's founder and domain expertise. We will support product understanding, positioning, customer objections and the technical aspects of qualified opportunities.
Agents receive professional sales and executive briefing materials, stakeholder-specific propositions, live demonstration access and a growing technical literature library. Waypoint Ingenuity will also support qualified customer demonstrations and technical discussions.
Yes. I'd make it explicitly acknowledge that flexibility is inherent to the arrangement, while confirming that Waypoint genuinely means it. We recognise that freedom and flexibility are inherent to independent sales. Agents are free to organise their own time and sales activity around their existing commitments. Waypoint Ingenuity pays for successful commercial outcomes, not timesheets, and does not prescribe working hours or sales methods, provided those methods are lawful in the relevant jurisdiction, free from bribery or improper inducement, and do not bring Waypoint Ingenuity into disrepute.
Major construction, infrastructure and capital-project organisations globally, with an initial focus on large Contractors, Clients, PMCs and PMOs delivering complex projects and programmes.
Suitable opportunities are projects and organisations where formal baseline management already forms part of the project controls and governance environment. BaselineBuilder is particularly relevant during new project mobilisation, baseline development and approval, major re-baselining, periodic baseline assurance, and the review of baseline submissions between contractual parties.
The product is therefore best targeted at sufficiently mature project environments where schedule, cost, scope and risk information is already expected to form a controlled and defensible project baseline, rather than organisations that first need to be persuaded to adopt formal baseline management practices.
Target stakeholders include senior project and programme leaders with responsibility for project controls, governance, assurance, commercial outcomes and schedule performance, including Project Controls Directors, Programme and Project Directors, PMO leaders, Commercial Directors and project board members.
Initial market feedback has been particularly strong within Saudi Arabian mega-project Client, PMC and PMO environments, while the product and sales model are designed for international application across construction and infrastructure markets.
We are looking for experienced, self-employed sales professionals who combine proven B2B sales capability with genuine familiarity with major construction and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will already understand how technical software or specialist professional services are sold into major Contractors, Clients, PMCs and PMOs. Experience selling project controls technology such as Primavera, ACC or PMIS-style solutions would be particularly relevant, although we are equally interested in people from adjacent technical and professional services backgrounds.
You should be comfortable engaging senior project and programme decision makers, understanding their commercial and governance priorities, developing relationships across multiple stakeholders and progressing technically sophisticated opportunities through to close.
Existing relationships within the industry are highly valuable, but an established contact book is not a substitute for sales capability. We are equally interested in candidates who have repeatedly demonstrated that they can identify, access and develop new accounts within this market.
Why should this opportunity be attractive?
BaselineBuilder offers an unusual combination of a specialist product, a large international market and very strong founding-agent economics. A single annual licence is approximately £7,500, while major-project opportunities can involve several licences within the same account.
Commission has deliberately been structured to reward that account development. New sales attract 30% commission for a single licence, rising progressively to 50% for sales of five or more licences. A representative five-licence sale therefore generates approximately £18,750 in commission at current pricing and exchange rates. Successful customer accounts also generate residual commission across their first three annual renewals.
For an experienced construction-industry salesperson, the potential market is very large globally but comparatively concentrated within individual territories. There are only so many major Clients, PMCs, PMOs and Contractors controlling the most significant programmes in any one market. Agents joining the channel early therefore have a genuine opportunity to establish valuable customer relationships while our professional sales network is still being developed.
We are also not asking agents to sell an unfinished concept. BaselineBuilder is a working product with a live demonstration environment, substantial customer outputs, professional sales materials and supporting technical literature. Waypoint Ingenuity will provide direct product and domain-expert support for demonstrations and technical discussions, allowing the agent to concentrate on developing and closing the commercial relationship.
This opportunity will particularly suit commercially proactive agents who can recognise a genuine baseline assurance requirement, qualify it quickly and develop the wider account opportunity. This is not an appointment-setting or passive referral role. We want agents who are interested in building a meaningful portfolio of BaselineBuilder customers and sharing directly in the value they create.
