Waxley Graham builds custom software that solves operational problems for small and mid-sized businesses. If something in a business is manual, slow, duplicated, or held together by workarounds, we can usually automate it or build a system that removes the problem altogether.

That covers a lot of ground: internal tools and portals, process automation, integrations between systems that do not talk to each other, reporting and dashboards, customer-facing applications, and bespoke alternatives where off-the-shelf software does not fit. One common example is a business running critical processes across dozens of spreadsheets, which we consolidate into a single system, but that is only one of many problems we take on.

We are a US-based company working with clients internationally. Our most substantial project to date is an internal operations platform we built, and continue to run, for a national third-sector organisation.

Modern development tooling means we now deliver in weeks what would have taken months and cost far more only a few years ago. That gap in price and speed is the heart of the pitch.

Products

We take on most kinds of custom software and automation work, including:

  • Internal tools and operational systems: tracking, scheduling, approvals, portals, dashboards
  • Process automation, removing manual and repetitive work of almost any kind
  • Integrations between systems that do not currently talk to each other
  • Data consolidation and reporting, including replacing spreadsheet-based processes
  • Customer-facing applications and portals
  • Bespoke alternatives where off-the-shelf software does not fit how a business actually works

If a prospect describes an operational problem, the answer is usually yes. You do not need to qualify the technical side. Bring us the conversation and we will scope it.

Typical first engagement is £5,000 to £25,000, most commonly around £8,000.

Benefits

  • Innovative product / service

Modern tooling lets us deliver bespoke software and automation in weeks, at a fraction of what custom development cost even a few years ago. It opens up a market of smaller businesses who always assumed this kind of work was out of reach.

  • Excellent commission terms

25% of first contract value as standard, rising to 35% on your first two closed deals. On a typical £8,000 engagement that is £2,000 to £2,800 per sale.

  • Recurring commission

10% of any ongoing support retainer for the life of that contract, plus 10% on all repeat and expansion work from clients you introduce, for 24 months.

  • First sale bonus

Your first two closed deals are paid at 35% rather than the standard 25%, so it is worth your while getting started with us.

  • Sales and marketing support

We provide a case study, pitch deck and scoping call script, and a member of our technical team will join prospect calls with you whenever it helps close the deal.

  • Freedom & flexibility

No territories, no targets, no reporting and no exclusivity. We work with clients internationally and deliver remotely, so you are not limited by geography. Work it alongside your existing portfolio at whatever pace suits you.

Target market

Owners, operations leads and finance managers at businesses of roughly 10 to 200 staff. We work with clients internationally and deliver remotely, so there is no territory limit and no restriction on where your contacts are based.

Strong signals that a prospect is a good fit:

  • Staff spending significant time on manual or repetitive work
  • Processes held together by workarounds, or understood by only one or two people
  • Separate systems that do not talk to each other, so data gets re-entered by hand
  • Off-the-shelf software that has been tried and does not fit how they operate
  • Growth creating admin load faster than headcount

No industry restriction. We have worked across professional services, logistics, facilities management, sports, and the education sector, and the underlying problems look similar everywhere.

Ideal Profile

We are looking for self-employed sales agents, introducers and referral partners who already have trusted relationships with business owners and decision-makers. This is not a cold-calling role.

If you already sell or advise into small and mid-sized businesses, whether in consultancy, IT, finance, marketing or recruitment, this sits alongside what you do rather than competing with it. Because we take on a broad range of problems rather than selling one fixed product, most of your existing contacts are potential prospects.

You open the door and make the introduction. We handle scoping, technical discovery, proposals, delivery and ongoing support. You are never expected to answer technical questions or manage a project.

Why it is worth your time:

  • Non-competing addition to an existing portfolio
  • Broad remit means almost any business contact is a potential prospect
  • Short sales cycle for the price point, typically four to eight weeks
  • 35% contract value on your first two deals, 25% of future deals
  • 10% recurring on any ongoing support retainer, for the life of that contract
  • 10% on all repeat and expansion work from clients you introduce, for 24 months
  • Direct access to our technical team to join prospect calls with you
  • No territories, no targets, no reporting

Practical terms: Commission is paid on client payment rather than on signature. Leads are agent-sourced. A written agency agreement is provided. You originate and introduce; we handle scoping, delivery, support and the client relationship thereafter.
