7EDGE offers three core services designed for enterprises and software companies dealing with legacy technology, rising maintenance costs and modernisation pressure.
Technical Debt Assessment
The Technical Debt Assessment is a fixed 3-week engagement that quantifies a client’s technical debt in financial terms before any remediation work begins.
It produces a Technical Debt Score, a classified debt register, a 6R modernisation path per system, an annual cost-to-maintain model, and a board-ready investment case with a payback period.
Legacy Modernisation Roadmap
The Legacy Modernisation Roadmap is a fixed 4-week assessment covering up to 5 core legacy systems.
It produces a phased 12, 24 and 36-month modernisation roadmap, a cost-to-maintain versus cost-to-modernise financial model, and a board-ready business case, along with 3 to 5 quick wins the client can start within 90 days.
Application Modernisation
Application Modernisation is 7EDGE’s primary strategic service. It transforms legacy systems into modern, scalable, cloud-native architectures.
Delivered through structured, fixed-price cycles, with each cycle modernising up to 3 modules, this is where the largest and most recurring client value is created. It supports organisations that need to move away from monolithic systems and towards modern, API-driven, cloud-native platforms.
Agents only need to speak credibly about the business impact of legacy modernisation. 7EDGE’s technical team handles detailed architecture, code and delivery conversations.
Agents receive a structured 3 to 10 day onboarding programme covering the 7EDGE company overview, core offerings, target customer profiles, objection handling and the co-selling process. Ongoing enablement helps agents stay confident, informed and commercially effective as opportunities progress.
Agents earn 10% commission on the Lifetime Client Value, known as LCV, for 18 months, giving strong earning potential from every client introduced and closed. Commission applies across all engagements from introduced clients within the 18-month LCV window, including follow-on work across different programme phases.
Every time introduced clients cross £500,000 in cumulative realised revenue, agents receive an additional 5% bonus, creating an extra £25,000 at each milestone.
Agents receive pitch decks, service one-pagers, proposal templates and objection-handling guides, with fast turnaround on proposals and responses.
Agents are supported by 7EDGE’s sales and technical teams throughout the full sales cycle, from initial prospect conversations through to contract signature.
7EDGE is targeting two main customer segments.
Independent Software Vendors
Independent Software Vendors are IP-driven product companies with proprietary platforms, established before 2000, that are transitioning from legacy or monolithic systems to modern and cloud-native applications.
Typical decision-makers include CPOs, CTOs and founders at software product companies.
Traditional and Large Enterprises
Traditional and Large Enterprises are established 15+ year non-digital-native enterprises with a legacy core, such as mainframe systems, monolithic ERP, on-premise data and custom systems of record.
These organisations are caught between operating necessity and modernisation pressure. Their revenue is typically generated from physical operations, not software.
Typical decision-makers include CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital, VP Engineering and IT Directors.
Target Regions
Agents may cover all target regions or focus on one region, depending on their network and strengths.
7EDGE is looking for experienced B2B technology services sales professionals with an active network of senior decision-makers across one or both target customer segments: established enterprises undergoing digital transformation and independent software vendors modernising their core product.
The ideal agent has 6+ years in B2B technology services sales and has built trusted personal relationships that can be converted into warm introductions and active sales support towards closure, contract negotiation and onboarding.
This is a full-cycle commercial opportunity. The agent identifies prospects, opens doors, stays involved through discovery and scoping alongside 7EDGE’s sales team, and uses their relationship capital to help close the deal.
Agents should have:
Agents joining now will become part of 7EDGE’s founding sales-agent cohort, with direct access to the CEO and sales leadership. This gives early agents first-mover advantage in their territory and the opportunity to help shape how the agent channel develops.
Agents are supported through weekly and monthly pipeline review calls with 7EDGE sales leadership, along with real-time CRM access to track introduced leads, deal status and next steps.
Fractional Sales Directors, independent IT consultants and senior enterprise account managers looking for meaningful commission on deals they genuinely help win are ideal fits.
