We represent two of our customers who require a talented and driven sales person to manage and perform the sales activities.
You will be helping with marketing campaigns (we already have a digital marketing person) and performing the communications, demonstrations and closing of the sales.
We have two business both with software products, we expect you to split your time between the roughly 50/50.
One of the products is a new software product for Care Home Industry and the other to sell software development services. (Here we are able to specialize but not restricted to the financial industry primarily trading and hedge funds etc.)
We are looking for an extremely driven and pro active person who is capable of managing their own time and driving sales. You will need to very computer literate able to grasp new software quickly and easily. Experience of both the care home industry and/or financial (trading) industry would be a bonus but not essential. Both companies can be considered start up so you will need to be able to demonstrate pervious performance working for similar business.
Whilst the companies have been in existence for many years these sales activities should be considered as dealing with a start up giving you the freedom and flexibility to develop the sales, and possibly team, down the line.

The first product is a newly developed software system which enables care homes to meet their quality requirements.
This is a legal requirement set down and audited by the governing body.
The software is unique, and has no direct competition in this respect, in its ability to not only inform of issues but also create simple but targeted action plans and tasks to bring the organisation in line with requirements.
The value add to the Care Home is exceedingly high in its ability to reduce overheads in meeting quality requirements.
The second is to sell the services of a highly efficient software development team that has vast experience in the financial industry. Sales for this can be world wide and expected to be to high net worth companies such as Hedge funds and Family offices. These could be high ticket sales.
This is the only system that not only indicates shortfalls in meeting quality requirements but also creates detailed simple to follow tasks to meet the requirements. Work and audits are performed by working staff relieving managers of time overheads. Software development with financial experience is uncommon giving very little competition.
Commission will be in the range of 30% to 40% for the initial sales reducing to 50% of that for the recuring payments after the first year. Commission for the software development is not all up front but in line with the monthly charges performed as the software is developed. There is also often a recuring element which again will generate commission to 50% of agreed initial amount.
The software is sold on a recurring license basis and after the initial period recurring commission will be agreed on the annual license fee as long as you are still working for the company. Any follow on support for software will also be commissionable and agreed before hand.
You will be placed in direct contact with the lead developer and founder who is an industry expert. Training will be given on both the industry and the product.
During the whole sales process you will have support from the industry expert and lead developer for both industry and product support. We will also perform demonstrations with you giving technical support. Marketing will also be provided, in the form of digital marketing to increase awareness and also hard marketing materials which you will be involved to guide.
This position is expected to be primarily remote but may require the odd site visit. You are however in control of all timings and when you perform your work.
The target market is care homes based in England, This market place is very clearly defined and records are publicly available due to its regulatory requirements.
There are over 20,000 registered care homes in England, however many of these are very small. Our initial target market is the mid size organizations that do not have sufficient resources to author their own systems for quality requirements.
One of the company founders is a highly regarded healthcare professional with extensive knowledge of this market place. From the list of care homes he will filter the best opportunities for you. This will provide you with company details and contact persons within the organisation responsible for this area.
Target markets for the software development are hedge funds, family offices and trading desks. Services are however not limited to this and we also have developed software for smaller UK companies in manufacturing and distribution. Campaigns can be discussed and actioned for different sectors. If you have specific knowledge of sector that may be able to benefit from custom software that may be an advantage.
We are looking for a highly professional self motivated salesman with a proven track record of medium value sales.
Your job will be to perform initial contact, book any demonstrations (These will be supported by us where needed), we will create the quotation for that customer and your job will then be to close. Both an industry expert and IT expert will be available for support at all times.
We will happily work with you on any additional marketing materials you think may be needed. You will also need to work with the digital marketing team with regards campaigns types and focus.
