The Sentry.  Formed in 2019, an innovative Uk company protecting public facing staff and their employers.

Run by a co-founder couple, Rebecca and Stuart, this product was born from the still unanswered need to protect lone workers and public facing staff in the field and give the employers the proof they need to be compliant and follow new employment law demands and legislation.

The re has always existed a moral duty to protect staff, the new legal demands from the employment rights act 2025 which becomes law in October 2026 has turned this moral duty onto a far stricter and materially higher bar to reach.

Failure to be able to demonstrate that as employer you took “all reasonable steps” to prevent your staff being harassed opens you up to tribunals and compensation claims.

May companies have policy, a what to do if there is an incident, a few have preventative tool, The Sentry fills the gap between policy and taking “all reasonable steps”, in the eyes of the law and tribunals this is of great importance and is what protects the business financially and reputationally.

Products

The Sentry is a web based portal for the business owner and an app based set of safety and reporting tools for the staff.

The web portal is where the admin sets up their account, buys licenses (1 per staff member), issues licenses to staff, monitors use and activity and keeps an auditable trail of staff activity and incidents reported, their proof of compliance.

The users app is loaded with preventative tools including a Silent Alarm, a Loud Alarm, A fake phone call feature, Live worldwide mapping with a limitless number of known users able to be seen, an incident reporting tool with text, voice, location and photo upload.

To make the app even more useful to the staff and increase usage, at no extra cost, The Sentry gives 3 free licenses per user for their friends and family, so when say Mum is at work she can see when the kids get to or home from school or if an aged parent is OK.  People worry more about others than themselves, this reduces that worry.

Licenses cost £39.50 + VAT per user per year.   So an office of 10 staff = £395.00 + VAT per year.   Office of 30 = £1185.00 + VAT per year

Target market

This product is particularly necessary for all businesses that have public facing staff.  Our particular favourite niche is Estate and Lettings Agencies which are plentiful throughout the UK and have a real need still.  (40 years on from Suzy Lamplugh’s disappearance and still most firms have nothing in place).

Ideal Profile

Candidates will have contacts within the property, HR, Care, entertainment, delivery, industries.

We would like to find someone to make referrals and introductions, perhaps to existing clients, or new to them, and introduce The Sentry as a new and vital part of their staff and business protection.

A candidate will have autonomy on where and how and when they operate.

We would like to accept referrals, we would then Demo, close, onboard and give ongoing support to the client.

We would pay commission on point of sale and again at renewal each year indefinitely.
