Lumira Studio is a video and content studio just north of London, making films for businesses since 2014. We specialise in firms whose product is their people’s expertise. We plan one day of filming around a firm’s senior experts and turn it into months of films, short clips and photography that their marketing team can publish, with approvals built in for regulated firms.
Our work includes executive programme content for McKinsey, recurring market and financial content for HSBC delivered through agency partners, training films that international learning providers deliver to their corporate clients, films for programmes at business schools including HEC Paris, Bocconi, Tsinghua and Rotman, and 104 short films in a single day for Kawai.
Clients who stay with us often grow into a wider partnership covering their website, search visibility and custom web tools, so a good introduction can become a long-term account.

1. A first project, typically £5,000 to £10,000. One planned day at the client’s office with up to three of their experts, such as fund managers, partners or practice leads. They receive three short films, 8-10 clips for LinkedIn and their website, and portraits, with an approvals plan that fits their compliance or partner sign-off.
2. An ongoing content programme, from £4,500 a month. A filming day every two months, a content calendar, and a steady flow of new films and clips from a growing library.
Why buyers say yes: these firms know video works but rarely keep it up. Research by Peregrine Communications, a London marketing consultancy for asset managers, found that around 70% of asset managers have a YouTube channel but only about 9% use video well. In our experience the obstacles are scarce expert time and slow approvals, and we solve both in one planned day.
You open the door. Our founder, Luke, handles discovery, scoping, pricing and the close.
Mid-sized London asset managers, wealth managers and specialist financial firms, and consulting and advisory firms.
The buyers are heads of marketing, content, investor relations or business development. These firms sell expertise, and their senior people are busy and expensive, so a planned day that produces months of content solves a real problem for them.
First projects typically take 6-10 weeks to agree, and ongoing programmes 3-6 months.
You already talk to heads of marketing, content or business development at London asset and wealth managers, or at consulting and advisory firms, perhaps through financial media, events, an agency or professional-services marketing. You are comfortable with considered, higher-value B2B sales, and happy to hand over to a founder once there is a real conversation. You don’t need to know video; we will show you everything you need.
What you would earn:
– 15% of a first project: £750 to £1,500.
– 10% of programme fees for the first six months: £2,700 on a £4,500-a-month programme.
– £1,500 when that client renews.
One client who takes a first project and then a programme is worth over £5,000 to you in the first year. Commission is paid when the client pays us.
What we provide: a researched list of 60 to 100 target firms in our CRM, a one-page offer sheet, case studies, a short showreel, and our founder’s time for every qualified meeting, with a reply within two working days. We do not provide warm inbound leads, but every new agent gets a starter set of researched firms with the named marketing or business development lead to approach. Your relationships open the door, and we take it from there.
How a sale works. 1. You open the door: a real conversation with the right person at a firm on your list. 2. You qualify it: need, timing, the buyer, and that the price level suits them, then log it in our CRM. 3. Luke joins within two working days and runs the discovery call; you are welcome on it. 4. Luke scopes, prices and closes, and you are paid when the client pays us.
Your time. Around six hours per client won: the introduction, the qualifying conversation and the discovery call if you join it. The first project is fixed in scope and price, which keeps the first yes small. Once you log a prospect in our CRM, it is credited to you from that date.
Good to know. Most video companies sell a shoot; we sell a planned expert day that produces months of content, with approvals built in for regulated firms. You would be our first agent, so you would help shape how this works. The arrangement is non-exclusive during the trial; after it, a proven agent can have a sector, such as asset managers, to themselves. London meetings are at your own cost.
The arrangement: self-employed and non-exclusive, so you are welcome to represent other non-competing firms. No fixed hours. We start with a 90-day trial focused on London financial services and consulting.
