As an appointment setter, you will reach out to three key groups within the children’s activity sector:

Owners of Wrap-around Care and Holiday Camp Businesses: Engage with businesses that provide vital out-of-school hours care and holiday activities for children.
Managers of Sports Academies: Connect with those running sports programs that cater to children of various ages, from grassroots to advanced levels.
Schools Running Extracurricular Programs: Build relationships with school administrators responsible for managing extracurricular activities and care.

Ideal Profile

For this sales opportunity, we are looking for enthusiastic, driven, and personable candidates with a passion for connecting with businesses serving children. The ideal candidates will be self-motivated individuals with strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships. They should be comfortable engaging with various stakeholders in the childcare and extracurricular activity sectors.

Candidate Qualities:

Excellent Communication Skills: Candidates should be able to articulate clearly and persuasively, adjusting their approach based on the audience—whether it’s business owners, managers, or school administrators.
Passion for Children’s Activities and Services: An interest in the child care industry or experience with children’s activities would be a great fit, as it allows candidates to connect authentically with potential clients.
Relationship Building: We are looking for candidates who can build and nurture long-term relationships with clients. They should be personable, attentive, and responsive to the needs of the businesses they speak to.
Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, especially in the child care or extracurricular activities sectors, is a plus. However, a strong desire to learn and grow in this field is equally valuable.
Self-Starter: This role requires a proactive approach, the ability to manage one’s own schedule, and the ability to follow up effectively on leads.
