Specialist in Live-in and Dementia Care for Families Across England

About Hometouch

Hometouch is a CQC-regulated, technology-enabled home care provider specialising in live-in and dementia care for families across England. The company was founded in 2015 by an NHS dementia physician and combines clinical, neuropsychiatric expertise with a modern care-matching platform to deliver person-centred care in the client’s own home.

Hometouch has grown through organic expansion and acquisition — including the integration of Guardian Carers — and is backed by institutional investors including Passion Capital, Global Founders Capital, Bupa and 500 Global. The company is now expanding its private-client sales capability by appointing self-employed sales agents to represent Hometouch on an exclusive basis in defined county territories.

The Opportunity

Hometouch is recruiting experienced, self-motivated self-employed sales agents to grow its private, self-funded client base county by county. Unlike a nationwide, shared-territory role, each Hometouch agent is appointed with exclusivity over an agreed county (or grouped counties, by agreement), giving you ownership of every enquiry and referral relationship you develop in your area, backed by leads generated through Hometouch’s own marketing and technology platform.

Benefits

An exclusive, protected territory

You represent Hometouch as the sole appointed agent within your county, so the relationships and pipeline you build are yours to develop without being undercut by another agent working the same postcodes.

A specialist, trusted service to sell

Dementia and live-in care is a considered, high-value purchase built on trust. You are backed by a clinically-founded, CQC-regulated provider with a genuine specialism, not a generic care directory.

Warm leads plus your own network

Hometouch’s platform and marketing generate direct enquiries into your territory, which sit alongside the referral relationships you build yourself.

Competitive, recurring commission

Earn commission on the value of every care package you place, payable across a recurring window — see the commission schedule for current rates.

Support from a dedicated operations and care team

Hometouch’s care management team supports you from qualified enquiry through to assessment and onboarding, so you can focus on selling and relationship-building.

Flexible, self-employed working

Set your own hours and working pattern within your territory — field visits, phone, video consultations or digital and referral-partner outreach.

Target market

Target Market and Referral Channels

Primary clients are private, self-funded individuals and families in your territory who need care for themselves or a relative. Potential clients include:

  • Older adults wishing to remain independent at home
  • People living with dementia or complex health needs
  • Individuals recovering from illness, surgery or a hospital stay
  • Families seeking respite, palliative or live-in care

Agents typically build a recurring pipeline by developing relationships with local referral partners, including:

  • Hospital discharge teams and case managers
  • GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals
  • Occupational therapists and physiotherapists
  • Solicitors and financial advisers working with older or vulnerable clients
  • Retirement communities and care villages
  • Dementia and older-people’s charities and community organisations
  • Local businesses and employers

Territory and Exclusivity

Each agent is appointed on an exclusive basis for one named county (or an agreed group of counties). Within your territory, enquiries and referral relationships you originate are yours to develop and earn commission on, subject to the terms of the sales agent agreement. Hometouch reserves the right to service existing national or corporate referral accounts directly; this is set out in full in the agent agreement.

Ideal Profile

What We’re Looking For

  • At least one year of B2C or relationship-led B2B sales experience
  • Confidence engaging families in emotionally sensitive circumstances, as well as healthcare and professional referrers
  • A self-directed, target-driven approach and comfort with a commission-based structure
  • A track record of building and converting your own pipeline independently
  • A background in care, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or medical/complex B2C sales is an advantage, though not essential
  • A full, current UK driving licence, given the local, territory-based nature of the role
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check, given contact with older and vulnerable adults
