The FCM is a low-pressure fluid cleanliness monitor developed to provide accurate and continuous information on the cleanliness of aqueous solutions, hydraulic fluids and circulatory lubrication system fluids.
Fluid cleanliness data is converted into widely used industry cleanliness codes, including:
The system is designed for organisations where fluid contamination can lead to equipment wear, reduced performance, unplanned downtime and increased maintenance costs.
The FCM addresses a recognised problem across hydraulic, lubrication, fuel and process fluid applications. Agents can present a solution linked directly to equipment reliability, contamination control and downtime reduction.
Sales agents receive commission of £1,100 for every FCM unit sold, including repeat orders from clients they introduce to the company. This creates a clear opportunity to build ongoing revenue from industrial customers with recurring monitoring and maintenance needs. Commission on rentals is determined by time of rental.
Fluid cleanliness monitoring is highly relevant to maintenance-led organisations where reliability, compliance and operational efficiency are ongoing priorities. Agents with established industrial contacts can develop long-term customer relationships and repeat order opportunities.
IMS provides full product data sheets, technical specifications and training covering the FCM’s functionality, operation and applications. This gives agents the confidence to approach engineers, maintenance managers and reliability teams with a credible technical proposition.
Agents are supported throughout the sales process to help ensure a positive buying experience for both the agent and the client. This support is particularly valuable when discussing applications, technical requirements and onsite demonstrations.
The FCM Fluid Cleanliness Monitor is suited to industries and organisations that rely on clean hydraulic, lubrication, fuel or process fluids to protect equipment, reduce downtime and meet cleanliness standards such as ISO 4406.
Key target markets include:
These customers typically need reliable cleanliness data to support maintenance planning, contamination control, equipment protection and operational performance.
The ideal sales agent will have experience in industrial, engineering, maintenance or hydraulic sectors, with established relationships among maintenance and reliability decision-makers.
This opportunity is well suited to agents already selling industrial or technical products into manufacturing, hydraulics, maintenance, heavy industry or related sectors.
A strong understanding of industrial equipment, contamination control and reliability challenges will be valuable, along with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to engineers, maintenance teams and plant managers.
IMS is looking for self-motivated, commercially driven sales agents who are comfortable arranging customer visits, supporting onsite demonstrations and building long-term relationships within industrial maintenance and engineering markets.
