Brand new beer company with charity driven purpose looking to change the world

We’re looking for experienced brewery sales agents interested in a commission only model as a contracted freelancer.

At the RGBS, we make exceptional craft beers and want to change the world. Sounds good, but how?

Well, 2.5% of all our sales goes to projects and charities that make the world a better place – and each beer supports a specific cause, so drinkers know exactly where the money is going. Our operations are based in Edmonton, North London.

We’re a sustainably minded, pending B Corp and our beers are always vegan, utterly delicious and hoping to teach people that beer really can be a force for good. Since launching in March 2021 we have created great products, we made the Independent Top IPAs for 2021 and were named “Best Beer with Purpose” (which is nuts)…

Now, we need to get the beer out there – through trade sales and by offering top commission (which is where you come in)…

Products

Since launching we’ve created 10 beers, including 4 core beers and 6 small batches, which we could make again if there is demand. Currently, we have beer in 330ml bottles, 330ml and 440ml cans. We are just about to expand into kegs – initially via KeyKegs, one way.

  • Tidal Save Session IPA – combating ocean plastics (featured in the Independent\’s Best IPAs for 2021)
  • Two Degrees Craft Lager – fighting climate change
  • Root Cause West Coast Pale Ale – protecting rainforests
  • Pipe Dream Bohemian Pilsner – funding water projects

Most of our target market would be as you’d expect:

We are also generating interest from:

  • Garden centres
  • Farm shops

Ideal Sales Agents and Responsibilities:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive trade sales from nearly a standing start – growing from a handful of trade customers to an army, after all, the more we sell, the more we can change the world…
  • Proactively sourcing and landing trade customers, smashing targets and maximising sales
  • You’ll relish the chance to work remotely but collaborate with the team on a daily basis as needed

What you’ll be like:

  • At least one previous role in sales in the beer industry – could be 1 year or could be 5+
  • A strong network of industry contacts who you’ll start selling beer to on day one.
  • Creative, energetic, and hard-working sales professional who gets what we’re trying to do, use beer as a platform for doing some real good in the world.
  • Have a lot of success stories of gaining new customers and selling beer to tell us about – and will be a fountain of ideas for how to achieve the growth we want.
  • Knowledge and passion about beer, sustainability and changing the world.
  • Must be highly organised, ambitious, and resilient, computer and communication skills.
