It takes licenced electricians over half an hour, and a lot of money, to safely install a pendant light – but with Snap Lighting anyone can do it in seconds.
The system comprises a recessed Universal Socket (included FREE with pendant kits), and a large range of compatible pendants and light fixtures. The plug-in Universal Sockets are a DIY direct swap for standard 90mm plug-in downlights. Once installed, you simply push in new lights in seconds. You can even adjust height and rotation without tools. Almost any pendants on the market can be adapted to Snap Lighting.
Every building in the world has power sockets on walls to quickly and safely connect products – why not the ceiling? We believe Snap Lighting will become the global standard ceiling connection platform, not just for lighting, but all ceiling mounted electrical products – a common platform for lighting, projectors, security cameras, smoke alarms, smart speakers, and more.
The products are certified to the appropriate IEC standards (IEC 60598) but are not yet CE certified. This is simply an administration exercise (and a fee) that we will complete once we establish a customer in the region.

Target market
We are looking for lighting retailers, distributors, and wholesalers who sell domestic/residential lighting products – specifically decorative pendant lights – direct to consumers, or to the building/construction/electrical industry.
We are interested in selling our conversion kits to them or their manufacturers to convert some or all of their pendants to our system at the factory level and make it the connection standard. (Eg. https://www.snaplighting.com.au/downlights-and-accessories/pendant-conversion-kit-white)
Alternatively (less desirable) they may choose to stock our conversion kits in stores and convert pendants on an as-needs basis.
