Opportunities for a Referral Agent and a Sales Agent for an Accountancy Firm Specialising in UK Pubs, Restaurants and Hospitality

Delve Accounting Ltd is a specialist UK accountancy and advisory firm serving pubs, restaurants, bars and hospitality businesses. Unlike generalist practices, every client the firm works with operates in the hospitality sector, giving the team a depth of commercial understanding that general accountants simply cannot match.

The firm charges a fixed monthly fee, giving clients complete cost certainty. Services go well beyond year-end compliance, combining accounting, tax and ongoing financial guidance so hospitality operators can understand their numbers, manage cash flow and make better decisions day to day.

Delve Accounting is now looking to grow through two complementary approaches: developing referral partnerships within the hospitality sector and reaching potential clients through proactive sales and lead generation.

The firm is actively recruiting independent sales professionals for both opportunities. Applicants should have a strong understanding of the UK hospitality industry, relevant sector contacts and experience engaging with B2B decision-makers.

Specialist Accountancy and Advisory Services for Hospitality Operators

Delve Accounting provides specialist accountancy, tax and ongoing financial support to independent and multi-site pubs, restaurants, bars, cafés and hospitality groups. Services are delivered for a fixed monthly fee, giving clients predictable costs and consistent support throughout the year rather than just at year-end.

Two Opportunities to Generate Business for Delve Accounting

Opportunity 1: Referral Partnership Agent

Build relationships with referral partners that already serve the hospitality sector, and activate those partnerships so they begin recommending Delve Accounting to their own clients.

This opportunity is relationship-led and partnership-focused rather than high-volume telesales. You will hold credible initial conversations, explain the value of a specialist hospitality accountant and develop relationships that generate qualified client introductions.

The firm handles all technical accountancy discussions, proposals and final conversion.

Earn £100 per qualified attended meeting, £300 at sign-up, plus 10% of the client’s first-year accountancy fees. You can retain the full 10% commission or use some or all of it to incentivise your supplier or joint-venture partners to refer clients. Any such incentives come from your own commission, at no additional cost to Delve Accounting.

Opportunity 2: Hospitality Sales & Lead Generation Agent

This is a more hands-on sales opportunity, combining engagement with Delve’s existing hospitality community and proactive outbound sales activity.

You will work with the firm’s established Facebook group of approximately 12,000 hospitality-sector members, identifying relevant conversations and opportunities to engage helpfully. These could include businesses looking for a new accountant, experiencing VAT problems or asking accountancy-related questions.

You will also generate prospects through direct outbound activity, researching suitable hospitality businesses through pub directories and other sources, identifying decision-makers and making contact by telephone, email and other appropriate channels.

The objective is to identify genuine opportunities, qualify potential clients, arrange sales meetings and follow up to help convert those opportunities into paying clients.

Earn £100 per qualified attended meeting, £300 at sign-up, plus the full 10% commission on the client’s first-year accountancy fees.

Benefits

  • An Established Firm With a Ready Audience

Delve Accounting has an existing portfolio of hospitality clients and a clear, proven specialism in the sector, so you are representing a firm with genuine credibility from your very first conversation.

  • Excellent Commission on Every Client You Bring In

Both opportunities pay £100 for each qualified sales meeting that takes place, £300 when the prospective client signs up, plus 10% of the client's first-year accountancy fees. Earnings are uncapped. Referral Partnership Agents can retain their 10% commission or use some or all of it as a commercial incentive for supplier or joint-venture partners who introduce clients, at no additional cost to Delve Accounting. Hospitality Sales & Lead Generation Agents receive the full 10% in addition to the meeting and sign-up payments.

  • Full Briefing and Direct Director Access

You receive a structured introduction to the service, ideal client profile and qualification criteria. A director is available throughout for early-call support and handles all technical consultations, proposals and onboarding.

Sell Into the UK Hospitality Supplier Network

The primary audience for partnership development is UK businesses that already supply, advise or support pubs, restaurants, bars, cafés and hospitality groups. The goal is to establish genuine commercial referral relationships with organisations that have active hospitality clients and a credible reason to recommend a specialist accountancy firm.

Potential referral partners include:

  • EPOS and payment providers
  • Payroll and tronc specialists
  • Licensing consultants
  • Hospitality insurance and commercial finance brokers
  • Breweries, wholesalers and specialist suppliers
  • Stocktakers
  • Hospitality recruitment, HR and health and safety advisers
  • Hospitality software and technology providers
  • Commercial property and pub brokers
  • Energy and utilities advisers
  • Independent hospitality consultants and industry networks

Relevant contacts will typically be founders, owners, commercial directors, sales directors or partnership decision-makers. The eventual end clients are independent or multi-site pubs, restaurants, bars, cafés and related hospitality businesses across the UK.

Direct Sales to Pubs, Restaurants and Hospitality Operators

The Hospitality Sales & Lead Generation Agent will focus directly on independent and multi-site pubs, restaurants, bars, cafés and other hospitality businesses across the UK.

The primary contacts will be business owners, operators and decision-makers responsible for their company’s accounting and financial arrangements. Opportunities may arise through Delve’s established Facebook community of approximately 12,000 hospitality-sector members or through proactive outbound prospecting.

The focus is on identifying hospitality businesses that could benefit from specialist accountancy support, particularly those looking to change accountants, facing accounting or VAT challenges, or seeking better financial guidance for their business.

Partnership Builders With Hospitality Sector Contacts

You are an experienced, self-employed business development, partnerships or referral professional with a strong understanding of the UK hospitality industry and established contacts within its supplier and advisory networks. You can open credible B2B conversations at a senior level, and this opportunity could suit an independent sales agent, hospitality consultant, fractional commercial professional or introducer already working with non-competing businesses in the sector.

You will be able to:

  • Research and identify suitable referral partners from a well-defined target list
  • Reach founders, owners and senior commercial decision-makers
  • Explain a mutually beneficial partnership proposition clearly and confidently
  • Qualify genuine interest and secure meetings that decision-makers attend
  • Maintain relationships until partners begin referring active opportunities

This is not a high-pressure closing role or a volume call-centre position. Quality, relevance and relationship-building matter far more than call numbers.

Proactive Sales Professionals With Strong Lead Generation Skills

You are an experienced, self-employed sales professional with a good understanding of the UK hospitality sector and existing industry contacts. You understand how pubs, restaurants, bars and other hospitality businesses operate, and enjoy identifying new business opportunities and turning initial conversations into qualified sales meetings.

You are confident with outbound telephone prospecting, researching potential customers, following up by email and engaging professionally within online business communities. You can recognise genuine commercial opportunities, reach decision-makers and develop relationships that lead to new business.

While the hours to contact prospects are flexible, calls need to be made at sensible times avoiding busy lunch and evening service periods where appropriate and using the quieter parts of the working day to reach owners and decision-makers.

Experience selling B2B services would be particularly relevant, while existing knowledge of the hospitality sector would be an advantage.

You should be comfortable working independently, organising your own prospecting activity and following up on opportunities through to conversion, working alongside Delve’s director.

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys proactive business development and is motivated by a commission structure that rewards both qualified meetings and the longer-term value of the clients they help bring on board.

Both opportunities are self-employed and performance-only, with no salary or retainer.

You operate independently, with no fixed hours, no prescribed working pattern and no geographic restriction. You are free to represent other non-competing businesses alongside Delve Accounting.

The firm provides a clear proposition, qualification criteria, briefing materials and direct access to a director throughout.
