Job Summary:
Homelife Stairlifts UK is seeking a dedicated and motivated Field Sales Surveyor to join our growing team on a self-employed basis. In this role, you will represent our brand, providing a professional and friendly service to customers across your assigned region. You will be responsible for conducting home surveys, offering tailored solutions, and converting enquiries into sales, ensuring each customer receives the best solution for their mobility needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:
    • Attend pre-booked appointments to meet with potential customers in their homes.
    • Build rapport and trust, ensuring an empathetic approach to customer needs.
  2. Conducting Surveys:
    • Assess customer homes to determine suitable stairlift solutions, considering technical requirements and customer preferences.
    • Take accurate measurements and provide clear, honest advice regarding installation feasibility.
    • Carry out technical survey’s for our Bespoke Curve stairlift models. (full training given)
  3. Sales and Recommendations:
    • Present Homelife Stairlifts’ products and services professionally, highlighting features and benefits tailored to each customer.
    • Provide accurate quotes and negotiate effectively to close sales.
    • Achieve sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  4. Reporting and Communication:
    • Provide detailed survey reports and customer feedback to the office team promptly after each survey.
    • Maintain regular communication with the team to ensure smooth customer journeys.
  5. Compliance and Standards:
    • Adhere to Homelife Stairlifts’ quality and ethical standards.
    • Stay informed about product updates and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field sales, surveying, or a related role (experience in stairlifts or mobility products is advantageous).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Basic technical knowledge or ability to learn about stairlift installation requirements.
  • Own vehicle, smartphone, and laptop/tablet for communication and reporting.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willing to travel
