We are looking for a dynamic partner to help grown our premium range of candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, bath teas, bath bombs and botanical soap bars!

Operating as a true family business, Thornbush Hill is run by Adam and Kirsty as a husband and wife team, along with Kirsty’s brother Steve, long-time friend Hannah and of course our two beagles (who can be found sleeping in the shop window whilst we work away!).The brand has grown considerably since it was established by Kirsty in 2016 – we now operate two physical spaces in South Wales, two websites, supply a host of British stockists and collaboration partners, a charity range of products and a team of brand advocates nationwide.

The products are no longer made from the kitchen table or a studio shed, but a custom designed workshop in Cowbridge. Our brand mission at is to create opportunities for our customers to feel a sense of well-being, whether it be by rising slowly, reviving throughout the day or resting with one of our creations – giving our customers One Small Moment to feel present, soothed, calm and grateful.

In 2022, we were awarded Retail Business of the Year (Vale of Glamorgan) for our commitment to excellent customer service, product innovation and performance.

Products

Making it Right

We’ve spent years developing our blends to ensure an absolute quality that can rival household names in our industry.

Each and every candle, wax melt and reed diffuser is blended and poured in small batches in our studio. Kirsty has adopted traditional artisan skills to ensure the highest quality and finish. We are of course fully insured and CLP compliant, meaning all of our products clearly display any possible allergen triggers and offer general candle burning safety advice.

Our candles use a 100% plant-based wax, a mixture of essential oils and cosmetic grade fragrance oils. These are finished with cotton core wicks for a clean burn and strong scent throw. They are also vegan friendly, paraben and cruelty free.

Treading Lightly on Our Planet

Sustainability is not just a buzz word for marketing, it is at the heart of all we do. We have eliminated single use plastic within the business and our end to end process from production to product delivery includes wax melts packed in potato starch, gift sets using clever wood pulp materials for ribbon, thank you cards made from recycled brewer’s grain and parcels packed with compostable corn starch chips.

We’re also proud to be accredited by the Welsh Government as a Green Growth Pledge business, to demonstrate our commitment to having a positive impact on our environment and the local area.

    We are now a 6 year old ward winning business, with and along a loyal customer base. We are official partners of the Welsh Government via their Cadw (Welsh Heritage) sites such as the famous Castell Coch. We are also the sole fragrance and toiletry supplier to the UK's best city hotel - Parador.

  • Recurring commission

    We are about building ongoing partnerships with venues so there is a larger commission for the 1st order, with an ongoing commission for subsequent orders

  • Exclusive sales areas

    We will not actively recruit new wholesale partners in the areas an agent is active

Target market

Our primary customer is 20+ females with a lot of males purchasing our products as gifts for others.

In terms of venues, we currently supply premium gift and craft venues, hospitality venues including hotels and bars, florists and delicatessens due to our expansive range of products.
