We’re a leading tax consultancy helping businesses reclaim millions of pounds in research and development tax credits from the UK Government.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic sales agent who can sell our R&D tax services to their existing clients or contact businesses and present the benefits.
We are offering:
- Average commission of 20%.
- Recurring commission.
- Current agents earn between 65K and 120K per annum.
- Some initial leads provided to get agents started if required.
You don’t need to be a tax specialist and you don’t need to have extensive sales experience in the sector as full training will be given. What you do need is enthusiasm, a desire to learn and dedication to always doing the absolute best for the clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales agent looking for an additional service to offer clients or for someone just starting out who’d love to build their experience and track record in an exciting and varied industry.

The Service
To encourage growth and innovation in the UK, the Government runs the incentivising R&D tax credits scheme which lets businesses across all industries reclaim up to 33% of their research and development costs from HMRC. Amazingly, many companies are unaware they can make considerable savings so it’s our job to tell them about it.
As an R&D tax credits sales agent your role will be to explain clearly and succinctly how the scheme can reduce their development costs and how we can help them claim money back.

Normally 20%, agents earn between 65K and 120K. Clients usually sign for three to four years so agents will receive commission for each year client remains
Commission advances
HMRC can take up to eight weeks to repay tax credits, but we’ll advance agents the commission owed

The Target Market
The beauty of what we do is, the market is huge! Any company, whether it’s a small team of 20 or a large multinational can apply for R&D tax credits. It covers all sectors too from tech and finance to food processing, buildings and DIY and industrial manufacturing.
It also doesn’t have to be for completely new iterations – R&D credits apply as much to products and services which are being redesigned or improved as it does to brand new products.
As an independent sales agent your role will be to sell to these different markets. If you have an existing network of contacts in a chosen sector, great. If not, we’ll help you build one.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- Either has previous sales experience in a particular industry or is willing to learn
- Is ambitious and determined to succeed
- Can confidently explain the benefit of R&D tax credits to people from diverse backgrounds
- Is a confident communicator and people person
- Can work independently and take the initiative
