MHI Travel Media are looking for sales agents with a wealth of media sales experience. Do you have what it takes to hit the ground running, follow up on great leads and quickly turn them into first-class deals?

MHI Travel Media is a fast-expanding travel media agency and we’re looking for a quick-to-learn and money-driven sales agent who’s hungry for their next opportunity.

We want the right person to come on board and help us meet rising demand. We’ve only been in business three years but we’re growing rapidly, and we’re looking for someone with the drive, confidence and tenacity to match that.

Travel industry experience is a bonus but what we really need is someone with a solid track record in media sales. While the role is remote, being based in London or the surrounding area is a distinct advantage – you may need to come to our offices for meetings from time to time and as the business evolves hybrid working will likely become the norm. Already having a contacts book brimming with active media sales decision-makers in travel would be the icing on the cake.

The Product

Using a unique business model, MHI Travel Media is able to offer its hotel clients effective yet affordable ad campaigns. Our extensive knowledge of the UK media landscape means we’re able to work with clients to drive awareness and bookings without spending a penny of their ad budget.

We are the only agency working in this way and it has paid off with extremely strong growth in the last three years.

    We have been running for 3 years and are growing fast. We need extra hands on deck to service the demand we are facing.

    We have a unique business model that is a trade secret but enables our clients to afford campaigns they would never normmaly be able to. We are the only agency in the world working in this way.

  • Generous commission terms

    Excellent commission rates of 20% of the profits on each deal closed. Initial target will be set at £8,000 pcm equating to potential earnings of £1,600 pcm. Agents should be able to hit this working three days a week and closing one deal a week. Agents will retain clients they close deals with and earn commission on all deals with that client.

  • Ongoing support

    Full training by the CEO and line manager given on all aspects. Case study decks and relevant media kits provided.

  • Sales leads provided

    Sales leads provided from MHI’s data gathering activities. We establish warm leads which will be passed to agents to close the deal.

  • Sales and marketing support

    We have all kinds of case study decks and data of previous campaigns we have run, aswell as all media kits of the relevant media titles we are selling to give the candidate everything they need to fullfill the role succesfully.

  • Flexible working

    Option to work remotely with visits to our London offices. Potential to transition to hybrid working as the business grows.

The Target Market

Sales professionals will target 5* hotels and hotel chains across the globe as well as tour operators and travel agents. We work with the top end of the market providing stand-out advertising experiences which reach key audiences in the UK and beyond.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Must have media sales experience, travel industry experience an advantage
  • Money-driven, motivated, ambitious and self-starting
  • Can get to grips with what we do quickly, and sell our services effectively to potential clients
  • Has perfect spoken and written English
  • Has excellent communication skills, confident and tenacious
  • Understands business development
