A Corporate Training Company operating on a global scale is looking for 2 part-time freelance personal assistants to one of their International Consultancy Officers (ICO) to conduct first-stage meetings with potential training providers or consultants.

Our client specializes in providing standard and bespoke training programs that are process-driven for corporate clients worldwide.

The company trades from offices in New York, George Town, Geneva, and London. Still, it operates as virtually as possible and has hundreds of independent Learning Providers and Consultants, located in most major cities worldwide.

Established over 40 years, with around 800 learning providers and 650 consultants they now service 500k clients worldwide.

This is not a sales role. You will be making pre-arranged calls to gather information from candidates who are interested in becoming a Learning Provider or Consultant. The information will be used to evaluate and assess how strong synergy is likely to be and to arrange 2nd meetings with candidates who are willing and suitable.

The Role

The company is looking for applications from freelance, self-employed telephone professionals for contract work.

You will be assisting an International Consultancy Officer (ICO) by undertaking 1st meetings with potential candidates who are interested in being learning providers or consultants. Your objective will be to evaluate and assess each candidate and then arrange 2nd meetings for them with the International Consultancy Officer (ICO). The International Consultancy Officer (ICO) you are assisting will then undertake the 2nd meeting and will make the final decision on the suitability of the candidates you are contacting.

Candidates will have requested an appointment by booking the appointment themselves on an (ICO)’s calendar and will also have completed a pre-meeting questionnaire. They will also have been sent detailed information about the opportunities available in advance. Another Personal Assistant will have also made detailed notes about each candidate in our Contact Management Software. You will also be required to make detailed notes during the 1st meeting within the Contact Management Software.

Calls are made by telephone and require asking predetermined questions for approximately 10 minutes, plus making a service presentation for approximately 10 minutes, with each interview lasting a total of 20 minutes, with a break of 10 minutes before the next scheduled call. It’s important that calls are made at the pre-agreed time.

All calls will go through the company’s telephone system and will be recorded so there is a complete record of the information gathered to accompany notes made during and after the calls.

The hours the calls are arranged for are 11am to 7pm 2 or 3 days per week. Applications are welcomed from experienced telephone professionals to work for 2 or 3 days every week.

$35/hr will be paid from 11am-7pm on designated days of work, regardless of whether candidates attend the calls that have been booked, so your time will not be wasted. No additional commission will be paid. If candidates do not attend the meeting, you will be required to leave a message on their voicemail. If candidates request a Google Meet, rather than a telephone call, this can be arranged for their 2nd meeting with an International Consultancy Officer (ICO).

Target market

You will make pre-arranged calls to mature, well-qualified professional service providers interested in becoming a Learning Provider or Consultant. The calls will be international, and as they are pre-booked for you, no prospecting is required.

While you will be using a predetermined process, the calls should still be friendly and relaxed and feature a conversational style of communication.

The Ideal candidate for this role

Our client is looking for a mature, well-spoken telephone professional who is articulate and has a clear voice that can be easily understood by people internationally. They should be amiable, friendly and trustworthy, and engaging. They should also have the ability to be in control of the meeting and the time that it takes without appearing overbearing. A low-key consultative approach to each meeting is required, without the need to close anything.

The required contracted hours are 2 or 3 days per week – 11am to 7pm. The role will be split between 2 suitable applicants.

Experience with Google Suite & Calendar, Insightly (Contact Management), and Freshdesk Caller will be an advantage.

Reliability is essential as calls are pre-booked up to 5 weeks in advance, and missed calls would present a negative image to potential candidates.
