There’s nothing like hearing a story from first hand experience; someone who has been there and done it.
Alex and Louis, through their unique experience and stories are inspiring innovation and resilience for the post-Covid world. After being diagnosed with neurodiversity, Alex and Louis have used their conditions to push themselves to go over and above, defying what, at times, seemed like unbeatable odds.
As established speakers, they are looking to take the speaking world by storm with their inspirational stories and are seeking motivated and friendly agents to reach out on their behalf to secure these speaking gigs for an extremely lucrative commission!
Alex is known worldwide as a record-breaking adventurer, endurance athlete, published author, brand ambassador and founder of mental health charity Mind Over Mountains, set up to help people connect to nature and themselves.
Louis was named as the youngest ever supplier to Waitrose, Sainsburys and Selfridges, before his 15th birthday. Now he uses all that he has learned to help others understand the psychology behind business and consumer psychology using his ‘chocolate box methodology’ and carefully crafted over 18 years of being in the business world.
Company
Ikigai Holdings Ltd
Inspirational / motivational / goal (setting/achieving) talks to all age groups. Storytelling talks about themselves and achieving anything. Virtual, hybrid and live keynotes on resilience through adversity, achieving potential and maintaining positive well-being.
There is a vast market for business and motivational speaking, many UK speakers are earning £150k+ and some as much as £500k just from their speaking events. For Louis & Alex, speaking fees average £2,500 – £3,750 (Per hour) but can be £5,000+ for certain events.
The sales pipeline for these kinds of events are short and from first speaking to a prospective client securing the booking usually takes 7-14 days. Louis & Alex also have other products and offerings to sell once a speaking event has taken place including books, training events, coaching and consultancy services. The commission for these products and services would be negotiated on an ad hock basis.
Both speakers have a wealth of experience and are well established in the speaking world. Louis has been speaking for over 18 years in over 17 countries covering areas from resilience to business, for many world-renowned businesses, including Deloitte's, PWC, Heathrow, the British Chamber of Commerce, and the Foreign Office. Alex has successfully grown his speaking business through the pandemic, embracing a digital alternative to in-person conferences. He has spoken for world-leading corporations during this time, including Rolls-Royce, FedEx, the NHS, Reckitt Benckiser, Bank of America, Royal Canin, and Shoosmiths.
Louis & Alex have previously been represented by speaker agents and have both had a lot of success.
Both Alex and Louis are innovators who have overcome adversity in their personal and business lives, with unconventional backgrounds that have taught them resilience and how to gain strength to overcome challenges. And both at a young age. After surviving 2 disasters on Everest and writing a book detailing his lifelong journey and battles he has faced, his refreshing willingness to be 'vulnerable'' has enabled him to captivate and inspire audiences of any age to achieve their potential through adversity. For Louis, his journey began at the age of 12. After being diagnosed with many neurodiverse conditions, including dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia, and becoming increasingly unhappy after being a victim of school bullies, he decided to leave conventional education. He began his own chocolate business and soon became the youngest ever supplier to Waitrose. Now a successful entrepreneur and worldwide speaker, Louis likes to get to know an audience and speak about how his methodology has helped him gain confidence, acceptance and resilience. He specialises in subjects including overcoming adversity and consumer psychology.
There is an opportunity to receive 100% of the commission upfront upon the client booking. Normally commission is paid 50% on the date of booking and then 50% 7 days before the event commences, but you can be flexible with your negotiations.
Both speakers are happy to provide training on the speaking industry and support throughout the process. Weekly calls can be held and we will build strong relationships with agents and ensure they are fully supported with whatever they need. Once sales start to come in we are also happy to fund CRM systems or anything else they may need.
Both speakers are happy to provide a list of previous leads both from past customers and leads from warm and cold audiences.
We are offering a bonus commission of 40% on the first 3 sales (minimum value £2,000 of booking required).
From each event booked we are allocating budget towards providing a continuous stream of sales and marketing material. We will work with the agents to produce materials and assets for them to use in the sales process such as website landing pages, videos, PDFs and anything else required.
For our audience, we are looking at prioritising corporate/businesses first. The main areas of focus for us are:
This ranges across many different business, education and public body sectors. Between the 2 speakers, they have spoken to over 35 different industries and given talks internationally (both physically and digitally).
Once in the rhythm of booking gigs, it’s a relatively smooth process. Corporates have budgets to spend and so it is about getting in touch at the right time, which is now!
We’re looking for motivated, friendly, and goal-oriented candidates that want to work with new and rising entrepreneurs as their careers and profiles develop, selling something that benefits the client and communities.
This is an exciting and highly profitable industry with short pipelines and deals that are easy to close. A dedicated sales agent could make this opportunity a large part of their monthly income.
If you would like the opportunity to work with these two motivational entrepreneurs, they’d love to hear from you!
