A leading high street cosmetic distributor is offering a superb opportunity for experienced sales agents to cover various counties within the UK.

Our client is a well established supplier of cosmetics to pharmacies and other outlets and is now looking for sales agents to service and develop existing accounts and source new business.  

A generous 15% commission is offered for sales to both new and existing accounts.

Support from the head office back up team.

Full product knowledge training.

Agents will have a direct impact on sales by building relationships and maintaining the appearance of  stock and displays.

The product and role

The role includes calling on existing customers to maintain and enhance the appearance of stock and stands, which will support sales from the accounts you will be servicing. Accounts to be visited a minimum of four times per annum.

The objective of the customer visits is to maintain good working relationships and to re-order products and expand the basic business. Agents will sell promotions to achieve greater brand awareness and develop merchandise units. The agents will also give feedback and inform the head office accounts of any changes or new product additions.

Agents will aim to reach both monthly and promotion sales targets through sales to existing customers and actively opening and developing new business on their assigned areas.

The target market

The backbone of our client’s existing customer business and the main target market is independent Pharmacies. Agents can also approach small, medium, and large groups.

Other potential customers are: Beauty salons and wholesale and independent department stores.

Ideal Sales Agents

The ideal sales agents will have an experience of high street cosmetic sales and a good knowledge of the products and the marketplace.

Full product knowledge training on our client’s ranges will be provided along with full support from the back up team at Head Office.

Agents are expected to have good communication skills and be comfortable presenting and selling at all levels.

Self-organisation is important along with returning daily log sheets for calls made, regardless of whether an order has been placed.

Agents may have the opportunity to attend trade fairs and should be available for field visits and 2 sales meetings per year.  

This is an exciting opportunity for agents with experience and a liking for sales of cosmetics. You will be servicing existing accounts, so you can hit the ground running and build profitable relationships to grow the business and your reward.

There is a generous commission of 15%, paid the middle of the following month.
