1104 by MAR is a unisex jewellery brand that was established in late 2020 in Iceland. The founder and head designer of the brand is Dagmar M. Gunnarsdottir. The brand started as a small side project in memory of Dagmar’s father who lost his short and hard battle to cancer. He had always been her biggest supporter and the one encouraging her to follow her dream of starting her own career, so the name 1104 was created to honour him, but 1104 refers to his birthday which was the 11th of April.

What started as a small side project quickly expanded and 1104 by MAR has its own store and office space located in Reykjavik Iceland as well as selling our jewellery in 13 stores nationwide. Among these stores is one of the biggest jewellery stores in the capital, concept stores, and fashion stores.

Now, we are eager to partner with a skilled sales agent who possesses extensive experience in the UK jewellery market.

We carry our own unisex jewellery brand, 1104 by MAR..

All of our products are made of stainless steel and 18k gold-plated stainless steel as well as we use freshwater pearls.

In our design, we focus on that our pieces are unisex, contemporary fashion jewellery that fits all genders and styles. Most of our inspiration comes from our Icelandic nature where the mountains, glaciers, volcanos, lava, and ocean play a big role.
