Since 2008, SmartConsign have been innovating our multi-carrier management software, powering e-commerce deliveries and innovating shipment tracking for some of the UK’s most ambitious enterprises.

We securely integrate our customer’s carriers, eCommerce platform, and marketplaces into a single platform. From here, our clients can easily manage and control their parcel deliveries across multiple carriers.

Our goal is to find highly motivated agents to utilise their established network to drive our sales and increase our customer base in return for an ongoing retainer (subject to performance) and a commission level that can result in very high earning potential.

Services

SAAS (Sold As A Service) – Retailer to Carrier Shipping Integrations, SmartConsign automates our clients parcel delivery by connecting their eCommerce platform and marketplaces to their preferred carriers.

We receive order data from their sales channel and from here they can access all the carrier rates, labelling and tracking functionality needed from a single touch-point.

Target market

We are not industry specific, our target market incorporates online retailers that use eCommerce platforms and marketplaces, especially Amazon and eBay.

The successful candidate(s) will possess the following abilities and traits:

Essentials:

  • Excellent creative deal-making and closing ability is a must.
  • Identify and self-generate leads.
  • Achieving sales targets.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Practical problem-solving personality.
  • Ability to achieve sales from both new customers and existing customers.
  • Previous sales experience within technology sales is an advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills – MS Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, CRM Systems.
  • The ability to get things done, being able to establish effective systems, processes and ways of working.

Communication and relationship skills:

  • Self motivated.
  • An ideas person
  • Works cheerfully and positively.
  • Able to influence and engage potential clients with our products.
  • Able to generate sales leads and close sales.
  • Able to manage fast decision B2B Sales.
  • Able to communicate concisely with other managers & directors.
  • Work closely with the management team to influence new products based on customer feedback.
