Jemsox Ltd, a respected family-owned business founded in 1970, has deep roots in British sock manufacturing. Originally established in Leicestershire, the UK’s sock-making capital, Jemsox was founded by Frank Pain and is now led by his grandson, Ben Pain. While we ceased UK production in 2008, Jemsox has since developed an extensive global manufacturing network, partnering with advanced, ethically certified factories to produce high-quality, eco-conscious sock collections. We are dedicated to sustainable practices, using innovative materials like carbon-zero lyocell, organic cotton, and recycled yarns across our product range.
Now, Jemsox is expanding our retail presence, and we’re seeking enthusiastic and motivated sales agents to bring our Jemsox and Wigglesteps brands to independent stores, department stores, and gift shops across the UK and Ireland.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for sales agents to represent an established, trusted brand known for both quality and sustainability, while earning a competitive commission in the expanding market for eco-friendly products.

Our sister brand, Wigglesteps, brings fun and vibrant designs that are perfect for gift shops and specialty retailers. Wigglesteps socks are crafted from organic cotton and incorporate Dry Touch technology, making them both eye-catching and comfortable.
Jemsox have been established since 1970. We are small team of 6 and work closely together to always improve and develop our collections
We highly focus on being sustainable and eco-friendly as much a we possibly can. We work closely with the world's first green factory and also looking in to new innovating ways that we could apply to our socks. Our latest collection, which we are highly proud of is our Carbon Zero collection, where our socks are made from Lyocell, Tencel.
We will offer you 10% commission on all Jemsox and Wigglesteps sales. We are happy to negotiate commission should your customer want a bespoke collection.
Continuous orders from the same customers will still be given 10% commission.
We will supply you with samples of our full collection, along with any marketing products we have, such as brochures, show cards and other POS we may have at the time. We will also have meetings to go through the story of each collection, to ensure you have full understanding of the product.
We are happy to discuss what area suits you and how big or small you would like your area to be.
As this is commission based, we are happy for you to organise your own calendars, appointments as and when you can.
We’re targeting independent and department stores, garden centres, and gift shops for our Jemsox collections. Wigglesteps, our more colourful and eye-catching line, is ideal for card stores, museums, sports centres, and other specialty shops looking to add a fun, sustainable product to their inventory.
We’re seeking passionate, proactive sales agents with a strong existing client network, particularly in retail, gifting, and sustainable fashion sectors.
Ideally, you carry brands that align with our sock collections (for men’s, women’s, and gifting categories) and have a solid understanding of eco-friendly products. This role is commission-based only.
