We are the TRO Group and we are delighted to announce that we are currently looking for experienced In-Store Promotion people to expand our Targeted Retail Sales team and promote awareness of our client’s Reduced Risk Tobacco Products, to instore consumers and convert them to the brand.

TRO have been in the experience business for 40 years, doing everything from big live events to pop-ups, promotions, product launces and product sampling campaigns. Join us and you’ll be working on a face-to-face basis with consumers in conjunction with carefully selected retail partners.

You will be working with an established company with a passionate and supportive team.

You will be given all the professional training you need to get familiar with the product and how it may benefit consumers.  You’ll also receive ongoing sales and marketing support to help you smash your targets. Acting as an in-store product expert, you’ll be instrumental in driving awareness of the brand through interactions with consumers.

You’ll be provided with your own kit and inventory and generously compensated for your time spent on the road, as well as earning generous incentives that increase with the more deals you close.

On top of the day rate, promoters can earn tiered incentives based on weekly sales volumes, making this a great opportunity for those who can consistently exceed targets.

We’re looking for a talented and fastidious people person who can create and maintain customer relationships, manage their time effectively, and maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting.

The product

In-Store promoters will raise awareness and facilitate sales of Reduced-Risk Products (RRP) by talking directly to the consumers visiting retail outlets.

These are products with the potential to reduce the risks associated with tobacco consumption.  Agents will exclusively target consumers who already use tobacco and introduce them to the benefits of this alternative product. You will be given all the information you need to chat, educate, and answer consumer questions.

We are looking for outgoing, vibrant individuals to have enlightening conversations with consumers.

Target market

Promoters will be working directly with consumers in retail outlets that stock Fast Moving Consumer Goods all over London.


  • Promoters can earn tiered financial incentives depending on weekly sales volumes.
  • They also earn a £90 day rate on top of the incentives.
  • We pay an allowance of up to £15 for daily travel expenses as well as an additional £10 per hour for travel over one hour each way
  • TRO will provide the successful candidate with all the training they need to take to the road with confidence.
  • Promoters also have access to ongoing sales and marketing support.
