Sales Agent opportunity for an experienced sales executive or contracts manager looking for their next move in the world of security?
Are you keen to establish yourself with a specialist security agency and build a rewarding agent relationship?
GDS Security is a well-established provider of security solutions to both public and private sector organisations in the UK. We’re looking for a sales agent/sales contracts manager to work with us on promoting and selling our security services.
Having experience of the security industry is important but we also welcome applications from any sales professional with a proven track record and the ability to find the right contacts for our services.
Your role will involve selling everything from static security services to corporate security and hotel security. You’ll be responsible for explaining our range of high quality yet cost-effective services, making site visits and assessments when necessary and suggesting the right ones to your clients.
The role is remote but being based in London and the South East where the majority of our work is booked would be an advantage. You’ll receive full training covering the different services we offer and gain a strong understanding of how those services can be tailored to meet client needs.

Sales agents will target any business or industry that requires security services. This could be the hotel and restaurant industry looking for door security, corporate organisations with wide-ranging security needs, public sector bodies, global businesses with diverse requirements and asset protection.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- Ideally has experience of the security industry but we will accept applications from any agent or account manager who has a proven track record and is willing to build a client base
- Has strong sales experience and can confidently explain the benefits of our services
- Is highly motivated and an excellent self-starter
- Has excellent spoken and written English
- Has a high attention to detail and is extremely organised
