We are looking for a “veteran” business development representative — a rainmaker — to join our fast-growing startup. You will be solely responsible for the generation of new revenue for our company.

What we’re looking for:

  1. An application with a minimum of five years experience in a business development role relying on video conferencing (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, etc.) — or telephone.
  2. Those with experience in business development in most forms of marketing (digital marketing, lead generation, etc.).
  3. An applicant who is able to commit 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  4. Fast learners. You must be able to grasp how our service works, our sales processes and the expectations of your role — quickly.

Do not apply for this role, if:

  1. You have less than two years of experience in a role made up of “closing” sales, i.e. business development.
  2. You’re looking for this to be “one of your many” sales roles.
  3. You have other commitments outside of your sales work (in other words, if you work another job).
  4. You’re looking to run, or are currently running your own business/sales agency. This role is exclusively reserved for employees of our company.
  5. You’re looking to “get rich quick” or “get rich easy”. This role is reserved for team players, whose sole focus is on fulfilling our company mission.
  6. Ego. You must be the rare breed of person who actively looks to improve and who regularly searches for feedback on their performance. You must be comfortable relying on our internal processes.
  7. You have a low stress tolerance. Being in sales is tough, you face rejection on a daily basis. You must recognise it is part of a job and never lose hope.

Your day-t0-day:

  1. Attending daily sales meetings.
  2. Converting 5-10 warm leads per day to a Google Meets appointment via telephone and/or email.
  3. Re-confirming attendance of your leads to appointments on a daily basis to decrease your no-shows.
  4. Converting your leads to customers. All customers sign a minimum three-month contract starting at £1,500 per month ranging to £25,000 per month.
