Sileather is a new and revolutionary silicon leather for upholstery and fashion accessories. A performance fabric made from silicon, it’s highly durable, odourless, and abrasion resistant.
With tough and stable construction, our silicone fabrics resist many outside forces whilst maintaining an incredibly soft touch.
Distributed in the UK by The Lindhurst Group, a family business whose Directors have over 30 years’ experience in supplying products to the commercial sector.
We are now looking for sales agents with existing contacts in the target markets and experience of sales to decision makers in the design, manufacturing, and furniture & upholstery sectors.

The Product - Sileather
Sileather is a unique faux leather for use in the upholstery sector and the fashion accessories market for bags, phone covers, and anywhere leather and other fabrics have traditionally been used.
The fabrics are produced in a non-solvent production process free from PVC or PU and any added chemicals, so they are much safer and healthier than traditional fabrics.
Made from silicone, it’s eco-friendly, UV resistant recyclable and vegan friendly.
Sileather is wipe clean to biro and clothing dyes and cleanable with bleach and alcohol products, making it ideal for furniture in constant use and requiring regular cleaning.
Sileather silicone fabrics are inherently flame resistant thanks to the protective nature of silicone. Our silicone fabrics have easily passed several flame tests. Full details of testing and more information on the properties and specifications of the fabrics can be seen on the website.
Target market
With a wide range of fabrics to suit many different uses, Sileather has a large and diverse target market for sales agents to approach including:
Interior Designers, Specifiers, Furniture Manufacturers, and Furniture Dealers.
Upholsterers to the contract sectors covering Commercial, Hospitality, Education, Healthcare, Senior Living.
Manufacturers of Bags and related accessories.
Manufacturers of automotive and rail seating and many other transport modes.
Ideal Sales Agent Profile
The ideal sales agents will have an existing portfolio of products with well established contacts in the A&D community and Office Dealer market. We also welcome applications from agents with contacts in the automotive, rail and bag manufacturing industries. Agencies could be given to the right sector specific applicants.
Sileather provides an excellent opportunity for sales agents to present a unique complementary fabric that appeals to those sectors interested in sustainability, wellness, vegan approval and easy cleaning to biro and denim stains.
Experience of selling into the target markets is essential, and agents must be comfortable presenting to all levels from SMEs to board room and decision makers in large, private and public organisations.
