byOliviaBell are a new London based greetings card publisher looking for friendly and passionate sales agents to expand the business across the UK.
We launched at the beginning of 2022 and after two trade shows have our cards stocked in a number of shops with great success.
Olivia Bell is a British artist and illustrator known for her charming and true to life hand drawn illustrations which focus on animals, pets and nature. Due to her artistic training, the detail and focus in her illustrations is rarely seen on greetings cards which helps to separate her cards from the rest of the market. We have a fast expanding range of over 50 greetings cards with intricately drawn and delicately hued illustrations for all occasions.
At byOliviaBell we have a passion to preserve nature’s beauty so all of our cards are fully recyclable as well as all our outer packaging and shipping materials.

Freedom & flexibility
There is complete freedom and flexibility with the number of hours worked/days worked. This is however a commissioned only based role, so you will only receive payment if you are making the sales.
Target market
We are looking to sell into independent gift and greetings card shops across the UK excluding Surrey and London where we already have representation.
We would also like to sell to small chains and eventually to bigger retailers.
Our cards sit within the ‘art card’ remit, so we would not sit well in a shop that is predominately stocking humour cards. We are also on the higher end of the spectrum in terms of quality and price, so shops selling cheaper cards would not be interested in stocking our cards.
Our cards and packaging are all fully recyclable, so we are looking to be stocked in shops that hold similar values.

Ideal Profile
We are looking to work closely with hard working, friendly and approachable agents who are willing to work with our relatively new business selling our cards across the UK.
Our ideal candidate would have some knowledge of the industry as well as being self motivated and very personable.
You will be meeting lots of people and trying to sell a product to them in this role, so an ease and confidence with sales would be paramount (without being aggressive).
We would love to hear from anyone who would like to embark on a long and lasting relationship. It is very important to us that mutual respect is felt so that everyone is happy making for an enjoyable role. Open and honest conversations are therefore a must.
A high rate of commission (relative to the industry) is paid on every sale to encourage our agents to go out and get our cards stocked! Our cards have also proved very popular so far with retailers, so it is likely that you will get a sale if you speak to the right person in the right shop!
