Agents required for modular bathroom and kitchen pods aimed at the new build and refurbishment markets, offering a complete solution. The target sectors and business opportunities are endless but will include a wide range of other markets in the property and hospitality sectors.
The product is a prefabricated range of quality bathroom and kitchen pods supplied with a range of sanitaryware, faucets, lighting and waterproof decorative panels. You will be selling the only SMC flat packed product offering in the UK, (sole distribution) suitable for both new build and refurbishment markets.
This is an opportunity for sales agents to get in at the start with a product that has great potential because of its unique benefits and applications for a large target market.

Modular Pods International Ltd specialise in supplying high quality, offsite modular construction bathroom and kitchen pods. We are designer, distributor, producer, and stockist, supplying modular bathroom pods to the UK & European construction industry.
Our B2B proposition adds real value to multinational construction projects, specialist medium sized building companies, and domestic applications.
We focus on the key benefits of offsite, factory controlled, production, in harness with fast track delivery and installation. This gives our products the benefits of outstanding value and clear competitive advantages, which agents can present to any architect, designer, building or construction company looking to capitalise on the benefits of modular prefabricated pods.
We are an innovative pioneer in our marketplace and are now looking for agents to help us open up the small to medium building customer segment in the UK. The current Pod manufacturers in our home market have never been interested in unlocking this fertile customer sector. This is due to their solutions being a bespoke engineered ‘plug & play’ offering to the large bathroom supply contracts and not the SME sector. For these competitors, the minimum order quantities are a barrier that we do not have.
This sales benefit, and many others, means we have no real competition in a customer segment that has huge dormant sales potential for agents to exploit. The challenge is, the market segment is very fragmented, which is ideal for the sales agent model.
You will be selling our prefabricated range of quality bathroom and kitchen pods, offering our Good, Better, Best and Premium range including sanitaryware and waterproof decorative panels, or stand-alone pods if desired.
We are not an installation contractor, but we can recommend ‘MPI approved’ installers who specialise in bathroom pod installations UK wide. This is a good avenue for agents to increase sales. Demand for offsite pods is growing fast– so pod installation services within the SME building sector, is appealing as an additional income stream for builders who also become customers.
As we have a product design edge in the building and development renovation sector, we offer a free site survey for orders that would contain more than x 10 pods in 1 order. Another benefit for sales agents to present.
One of our main objectives for the next 2 years is to have our Pod product displayed in showrooms in the main population centres across the UK. We expect agents to support this re-seller relationship as the ‘show & tell’ sales approach is a proven deal clincher to those customers who have never used Pods before, which is a large percentage of the building sector.

To be considered for this opportunity, agents should have the drive and determination to build a successful region, have the desired business acumen skills and integrity, be enthusiastic, passionate, hungry, and have a successful track record of introducing new product types to market and winning consistent sales.
The ideal sales agents will have existing networks of customers and contacts in the building, construction sector as well as Architect and Designer arenas. Relevant sales experience is expected, which could be: sales of bathroom sanitaryware, commercial or domestic bathroom fixtures, bathroom fittings or floors, or sales in a connected sector such as kitchens.
The type of agents that will thrive in this sale environment will be motivated by the opportunity to earn lucrative rewards by introducing innovative new products to their contacts, and opening up new avenues of business within the target markets. We welcome applications from agents to work full or part time (preferably 20+ hours / week) with own transport and to combine sales activity with other complementary products aimed at the same market
There is a sliding scale commission scheme, including repeat orders, starting at £100 per pod sale, which is up for discussion with accepted sales agents.
We are looking for agents to cover various sales regions including Yorkshire & Humberside, North West, Wales, East Midlands, Ireland, East of England, South West and North London. It is advised that agents apply quickly to ensure they are considered for their local area. Agents outside of these areas that meet the above criteria will be also be considered. Area sales exclusivity will be granted after a satisfactory trial period.
Support Offered to Agents:
A 2 day product training course, funded by MPI limited, will be held at our headquarters to ensure agents are equipped with the knowledge to present the product.
We will provide both electronic and hard copy collateral & POS material where we have an independent bathroom showroom displaying one of our bathroom pods.
Agents will have access to our Salesforce CRM system to organise prospects and submit weekly reports.
Marketing is focused on driving potential customers to our website, telemarketing and e-shots are used to generate warm leads, and we also use Lead Forensics. The leads generated will be passed to the agents in each territory.
There will be regular communication of product and market knowledge, and if required the company sales manager will also spend time with you in your area to assist your induction.
There are 3 x bathroom pods in our HQ [on the South Coast] for use by sale agents within travelling distance. The show & tell sales method has proved highly successful and over the next 12 months we aim to get another 10 pod display units in showrooms throughout the UK for agents to use to demonstrate the product and its benefits to potential customers.
