Media Activation is a specialist sales consultancy business that helps clients to win new business.  Led by MD Julian Clogg who has 30 years experience in the media sales sector having launched and developed numerous advertising and screen networks across the UK for various clients.  We recruit and train sales agents to become successful in their own right by providing a “sales eco-system” that includes all the basics such as a clear plan, high quality database, sales and product training along with effective marketing materials to share.

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

One of our key clients is HealthPointTV who have been around for 20 years and manage a national network of 650 high definition digital screens strategically positioned in Pharmacies across the UK.  The screens benefit the pharmacist as they can run campaigns to advertise their services.  Reaching a footfall of 12 million consumers each month pharma and health brands can boost sales by promoting their products at the point-of-purchase.  This is measured by using Epos data from the stores.  See www.healthpointtv.com

THE TARGET MARKET

The primary target market is OTC (Over the counter) pharmacy brands – any product found on the shop shelf in a pharmacy.  This can also include health supplements and complimentary medicine brands.

There is also a secondary audience to promote in the Over 55’s as older customers tend to walk to their local pharmacy rather than travel into a town centre to shop.  They will often be a regular visitor and wait for their prescription for 5-10 mins which is when they engage with our screens.  Any company wishing to build their awareness and generate leads from the Over 55’s is also relevant.

Ideal Profile

We are looking for experienced media sales people preferably with experience in selling to pharmaceutical brands that hopefully have existing contacts in the sector.  The OTE earnings, where we close 2 average deals each month at £20,000 = £2,000 commission per campaign is circa £50,000 pa.  This is a highly supported role with everything a good sales person needs to confirm deals provided.
