Berkel are looking for freelance sales agents able to sell their range of professional meat processing equipment to wholesalers and distributors. The range of professional products are aimed at butcher’s, restaurants, delis, hotels, and other users in the food sector.

The selected agents will have exclusivity in the agreed sales areas.

Commission ranges from 5% to 16%, based on the discount offered.

Payments are quarterly and there is an additional bonus for the achievement of sales targets.

The products

Sales agents will be selling meat processing equipment, such as slicers, mincers, mixers, vacuum machines and more to wholesalers and distributors that supply the professional users in the food sector.

The lines that will be marketed are only the professional users within the food and catering industries, not domestic equipment.

The range of products is top quality, varied, and comprehensive. There is also an historical value that identifies the history of the products with the brand, for example the flywheel slicer.

Target market

The target market is distributors and wholesaler selling to professionals within the food and catering sector. Ideally the distributors and wholesalers will provide after-sales service.

Ideal Agent Profile

The ideal agent will have experience of sales of similar products to wholesalers and distributors.
