B.P.Y. Plastics Limited are a family run, midlands based, precision injection moulding company. Nearly 30 years experience specialising in manufacturing technical mouldings for market leaders in multiple industries such as Railway, Water Management, Ventilation, Landscaping, Construction, Furniture, Medical and Automotive. We also offer a vast array of secondary operations enabling us to provide a one stop shop for our customers.

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

1. We provide a Plastic Injection Moulding Service to manufacturing companies for the injection moulded components in their product lines. We specialise in technical mouldings for higher value items, usually in engineering polymers, as well as high volume low to medium value components, but do not manufacture single use parts. We offer secondary operations and fabrication services where customers desire finished goods.

2. We also manufacture a small range of our own plastic products for the construction industry. These include Fascia corners and joiners (both white and vacuum foiled woodgrain) as well as several products for the concrete garage industry such as tapered washers and spacers. This is currently a small part of our business but is very scalable.

THE TARGET MARKET

The sky is the limit. We currently supply market leaders in a vast array of sectors, our target market for our service is other medium to large manufacturing companies with products that have plastic injection moulded components. Low to medium volume technical mouldings are what we specialise in, but will cater any company that requires plastic components as long as they are not single use. New markets we would be keen to enter are Aerospace, Defence, Electronics, Oil and Gas, and Games & Toys.

For our own products, key markets for our Fascia components are in the roofing and construction industry. Fascia installers, repairers, and constructers of new builds will all produce regular repeat purchases. Key markets for our concrete garage plastic products are of course concrete garage builders. There are hundreds if not thousands of companies in the UK alone that use these products, and should sales be increased investment will be made in increasing the product lines.

The ideal sales agent will have both experience and contacts within the plastics industry. We expect the candidate to be self motivated, punctual, and polite. Most communication with prospective customers will take place primarily via email and over the phone, so excellent communication skills are of paramount importance. Opportunities to visit prospective customers will be frequent and presentation will be key, so the ideal candidate will need to be well presented.

We want a sales agent who can bring in new accounts. Repeat purchases are common in high volume plastic injection moulding, and new accounts produce ongoing work. A candidate who can bring in new accounts and fosters a good relationship with clients will be an invaluable asset here at BPY.
