A sales agent opportunity to represent Happy Punt in the UK fashion and apparel market place.

We have just signed a collaboration agreement with the world’s main supplier of recycled cotton fibre that will allow us to launch fully sustainable collections to the market.

Happy Punt recycled cotton fibres offer a unique feature to present to the UK markets and will allow our UK agent to stand out above the competition.

Founded in 1996, Happy Punt has more than 24 years of history in the apparel and textile business. We are fashion designers, specialising in knitwear for women.

Known and recognised around the world for the quality of our fashion design and for the speed of the creative process: with a global strategy, our design capacity, and the best industrial partners in the main production countries in Europe, Asia and America.

Our headquarters, showroom and PD&D centre are located in Barcelona, Spain. We also have a sourcing office in Shanghai. Production centres and capability in Europe (Portugal, Morocco, Turkey) Asia (Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar) and Central America (Nicaragua, Haití, Guatemala).

Our main customers are retailers such as Zara, Primark, Bershka, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Tendam, Guess, Amazon Fashion and GU.

Fashion and apparel is a very mature market, and it is increasingly difficult to differentiate a business from its competitors. Sustainability and our unique recycled fibres are what makes us stand out, and as a sales agent what you will be presenting to your customers.

The target market

Our products are orientated towards high volume orders, so our target market must be the main fashion brands and retailers in the UK: Next, Marks & Spencer, New Look, and other customers able to order high quantities.

We are looking for a sales agents  to cover UK wide with a focus on the major cities where these fashion brands and retailers have their Headquarters.

 

Ideal sales agent

The ideal sales agent will have initiative and experience in the apparel and textile business. They will be responsible for our sales in the UK market. He/she will have the opportunity to market a unique product range that other items made with recycled cotton cannot compete with.

The agent’s responsibilities will be:

  • Create new business, continue to grow it and maintain relationships with the customers.
  • Meet with retail clients on a regular basis, manage wholesale meetings with new and existing clients.
  • Be our key point of contact for major retail accounts.
  • Identify new customers and pitch for new business.
  • Drive sales forward to achieve forecast and budget as well as identifying new product areas and opportunities.
  • Be heavily involved with the product development and sampling, briefing design on direction for each season and new product areas.
  • Have strong negotiation skills and be able to negotiate prices with customers.
