Are you a seasoned field agent with experience selling confectionery products in the food and drink industry?

Do you have a contacts book bursting with buyers from major supermarkets and convenience store retailers to garden centres and corner shops?

Exotic Ltd is a leading supplier of high-quality nut bars and bulk nuts with more than 20 years’ experience. It is also the only nut bar company globally to grow its own pistachios.

We’re looking for a dynamic sales professional with huge drive and a wealth of experience selling to diverse food and drink businesses. You’ll already have great contacts in the industry and will use those contacts to help grow and accelerate our share of the confectionery market in the UK.

You’ll be responsible for promoting our nut bars and explaining to your clients just why they’re so great and why they need them in their stores.

This sales agent role is remote, and you’ll be able to set your own hours and sales areas. In return you’ll receive generous commission terms from us as well as full marketing and sales support. If that means attending industry exhibitions, we’ll provide you with the materials you need. If you need support with digital campaigns then we’ll stand right alongside you, helping to ensure it is successful.

 

The Product

We grow, process, manufacture, pack and deliver our products from start to finish on our farm so we can maintain the highest quality. We produce a range of nut bars including almond nut bars, hazelnut nut bars, organic pistachio nut bars, and berry nut bars. We also sell nuts in bulk to a range of food manufacturers and wholesalers. Because we control everything from farm to palm our bars offer superior taste, a higher nut content and are competitively priced.

The Target Market

Sales agents will work with their existing contacts in the food and drink, restaurant and café, hotel, retail and FMCG industries. We’re looking to target supermarkets, independent supermarket chains, retail chains, confectionery stores, convenience shops, health food shops, gym chains, vending machine companies, garage forecourt owners and any other retail outlet which sells confectionery products. We’re also targeting food wholesalers and confectionery wholesalers.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a proven track record in B2B retail sales in the different target markets over the phone, face-to-face and online
  • Has strong contacts in their industry
  • Has a good knowledge of food products
  • Is highly organised and a great self-starter
  • Is confident talking to a wide range of buyers and explaining the benefits of our product in an engaging way
  • Has excellent spoken and written English
