Bittern Books is an independent regional book wholesaler specialising in local interest books and maps for East Anglia. We have been established in our present form for 4 years and would like to continue our growth with better sales representation in the region.
Our products include maps and tourist guides, fiction set in our region, local history and other local interest books. We are also main distributors for a number of local authors and publishers and have sole rights to their products. More information about our product range and business can be found on our website.
In addition to many existing customers that you will take over, we have a database of potential outlets in and around our region.
We will provide a full introduction to our product range and assistance with setting up ranges for new customers. Product samples will be provided on loan.
You will have exclusive rights to develop new customers in our region
We have a strong portfolio of existing customers, including bookshops, gift shops, museums, visitor attractions and garden centres, through to small village shops and post offices, that would benefit from regular sales visits. We would also like to establish new relationships with outlets such as garden centres and visitor attraction gift shops and begin to develop business outside of our core Norfolk and Suffolk territory.
