Contract Furniture – Residential, Challenging and Hospitality Areas

Poppi Contract Furniture are looking for sales agents in: Scotland, North of England, and the Midlands for their range of residential furniture for the Residential, Challenging and Hospitality areas.

A generous 15% commission is offered for agents with experience in Care Environments, not necessarily in the furniture sector.
Full training and support will be provided to assist agents to succeed, including regular activity to generate leads such as exhibiting at the National DIMH Conference.
Investment into the development of new seating collections will support sales growth.

Opportunity Overview

Poppi Contract Furniture has been established since 2016. We supply residential furniture into a variety of sectors including Residential, Challenging and Hospitality areas. We are on a number of framework agreements including the NHS Ward and Residential Contract. Within three years we have successfully achieved UKAS accreditation for ISO 9001 quality assurance and 14001 Environmental.

George Nuttall has been in the furniture industry for over 40 years specialising in challenging environments. Co-director Helen Roy has over 30 years business management experience including tenders, compliance, quality and sustainability systems.

We specialise in: Contract Seating, Dining, Bedroom and Living Cabinet furniture. Within this collection our speciality is challenging environments.

Our portfolio of products includes:
Furniture for extreme use, which incorporates strength and security fittings as standard.
Residential contract quality furniture for care and residential areas.
Hospitality range for contract quality cafe and bistro furniture.

Target clients and regions

The target markets for sales agents are: Healthcare sectors, which includes Challenging environments, Hospitals and Residential Care.
We are also developing areas in Hospitality and Workplace furniture. We predominantly deal with Procurement, Facilities and Project Managers along with clinicians and specialist groups.

Experience of sales and contact with decision makers in these target areas is essential, although not necessarily related to furniture.
We currently have two sales agents who joined us at the start in 2016. Both have built up their areas for Poppi and along with regular day to day business have achieved a number of large projects in excess of £25K.

Ideal profile

We are looking to fill three sales agency areas. Scotland, North of England, and the Midlands.
Ideally the candidate will have experience in Care Environments but not necessarily in furniture as training and support will be provided. Our website is constantly being updated and we have an active social media presence along with regular email campaigns and telephone sales to generate leads.

We exhibit at national and local exhibitions and provide roadshow facilities for new clients and project evaluations.
