Apart from the various marketing benefits there are significant tax savings to be made- joining the Cornerstone Rewards programme will see limited companies paying less corporation tax and personal tax. It’s also a way of paying for holidays, school fees, watches etc through the business.

For example, were the company director to take £25,000 out of the business as a dividend, the company would need to pay £5,864 in corporation tax. Then the director would need to pay £2,013 in personal tax (this is known as salary sacrifice). That’s a total of £7,877 paid in tax, making the £25,000 dividend now worth only £17,123.Using the Cornerstone Rewards programme the director could take the same £25,000 out of the business by subscribing to our marketing services and have £21,875 (we charge a 12.5% fee) worth of reward points to spend anywhere which accepts Mastercard. A saving of £4,752.It’s important to understand that reward points are not cash. Reward points can be spent in-store and online at Mastercard merchants, but there is no cash withdrawal facility available. Also, this is a completely legal and above board reward programme akin to Tesco Clubcard and Nectar.
