Business Development Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and well-connected business development experts in the retail industry to join the toodle team in the UAE and the UK.

The toodle BizDev team is responsible for driving the pipeline, by identifying and signing of merchants onto the toodle platform, the team play a critical role in the commercialisation of the toodle App.


  • A minimum of 10 years experience, of which at least 5 years’ business development experience in the UAE or the UK at management level, in a B2B context in the retailing, or e-commerce industry


Business Development and Sales

  • Manage the BizDev process from lead generation through to closing deals
  • Obtain Go-NoGo approvals from the BizDev steering committee
  • Work with the technical onboarding team to move new merchants to live operations

toodle Sales Development

  • Influence and persuade merchants to engage with their customer base to generate repeat business
  • Generate ideas to support Social Media / Marketing team on targeted merchant/community specific concepts to generate App downloads and increase revenues

toodle Market Development

  • Support marketing with the development of targeted ‘use cases’ that highlight specific toodle benefits
  • Identify and relay to marketing unique success stories of ‘toodle in action’
  • Identify innovative opportunities for toodle use, with emphasis on #Social Distancing and #STAYHOME and providing ‘time and convenience’ to consumers

Scope and boundaries

  • Operate within a set geographical area
  • Create multi-toodle ‘use’ opportunities for toodle App end-users
  • Prime merchant target profile: tier 2 and 3 | independents / SMEs

Operational structure

  • The business development partner will be self employed and expected to set up their own company
  • Weekly virtual team meeting with Payar Ltd (holding company) executives
  • Top line weekly reporting
  • Commission paid monthly


  • 35% of toodle revenues from Merchants that you open on the App
  • Retainer amount for the first 3 months
  • Full training in Dubai for 1 week at the Payar Ltd cost
