As a Home Sales Consultant for Plumbs home furnishings you can be your own boss, choose your own working hours, and build your own portfolio of customers. You will follow up leads provided and personally arrange visits to customers to present the Plumbs range, give your advice and offer a free quotation.

Plumbs do all the marketing for you and supply warm leads from people who have already expressed an interest in our products.

A proven training program is provided that has already helped over a 200 sales consultants to achieve success.

The Ideal Home Sales Consultants

The ideal Home Sales Consultants will have:

Sales experience, a professional appearance and manner, and excellent communication skills including when talking to mature customers.

You will need a suitable vehicle to carry fabric books and will need an up to date Apple i-pad to present using our proprietary sales tools.

You may have an interest in Interior Design, experience of selling home furnishing products, home B2C sales of recliners, or other bespoke products.

Target market

Our core market is varied but more typically over 50s who have invested in good quality furniture that they wish to refurbish.  We are also supporting an increasingly environmentally conscious buyer who is looking to renew rather than replace.  The sales environment is end user in their own home.

Ideal Profile

We are looking for motivated self starters able to make the best of an ongoing supply of leads generated via our intensive marketing investment.  The candidate will need a friendly and engaging personality and be able to quickly build customer empathy and confidence.  Ideally the candidate will have an interest in soft furnishings and have some sales background however this is not a pressure sales environment.  We provide a comprehensive ongoing training program and have an in house developed sales tool application that is unique in the industry.  Ideally the candidate will be able to benefit from flexible working hours, controlling their own diary and being their own boss but will need an ipad and suitable fully insured vehicle.
