London Runway is the definitive catwalk collection magazine for LFW and Graduate Fashion Week shows.
We’ve been around since 2017, switching to three annual issues in 2024 so that we can focus on covering the three biggest dates in our fashion calendar.
Alongside extensive coverage of all the important catwalk shows, we also feature model interviews, interviews with the owners of young and exciting fashion brands, a season overview exploring all the latest trends, editorials and lookbooks, and our business directory.
In 2023, our digital issues saw an average of 1 million views. We also sell small print runs of our issues on a pre-order basis using recycled paper, ensuring a responsible approach to waste. Our core values are sustainability, equity, and diversity.
We sell a number of advertising packages as well as editorial photoshoots. Next year, we will be adding in event sponsorships (we have paused our events in 2024 as we relaunch).
We have relaunched from our previous, successful model into one we believe will be even more iconic: launching issues three times a year focused only on the two London Fashion Weeks plus Graduate Fashion Week. We call ourselves 'the definitive catwalk collections' and we aim to cover ALL fashion happening in the capital during these dates.
Our advertisers often want to come back season after season, setting a recurring annual commitment with us. We already have a number of clients who are happy to book a year's worth of ads in advance to be sure they have all their bases covered.
We are able to provide some leads from industry events, from networking, and from people who reach out to us. We also have very warm leads in the form of past clients who are often happy to come back again. Because much of our business is founded on repeat customers, we don't necessarily need a huge amount of leads - we just need to build those relationships with the ones we have.
We may be willing to offer a starting hourly payment to the right candidates. After proven sales, we would be happy to negotiate an ongoing freelance salary if preferred to commission, with bonuses and bumps written in. If you prefer, we could go the commission-only route as well. We're quite flexible so long as we get results.
No set hours, no set location. Would prefer if able to attend London-based events but this will not be a requirement until later on in the year when our relationship has been better established. I'm a pretty hands-off boss. So long as the results are coming in, I won't be watching over your shoulder. Some people prefer this. If you do prefer to have constant oversight and nudges, we may not be the right fit. I'm happy to provide lots of help as you settle in but the right candidate should be able to eventually stand on their own two feet and work on initiative.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about making long-term relationships. We have enjoyed repeat business from a number of our customers and building those partnerships is a big part of our ethos – we want our clients to be happy with the service they receive and come back to us time and again.
We have the capacity to grow rapidly once we hit the ground running. Our current rates are intended as a starting point and we will be looking to improve as soon as possible, rising more in line with luxury rates.
The cyclical nature of the fashion industry means that it’s easier to grab those repeat customers, making your job much easier once the relationships are in place. And, of course, if you already have some interest in fashion, you may find it exciting to work with these brands in the first place.
Finally, our core values are key to our mission and we hope you’ll also be inspired by them. We strive for sustainability, equity, and diversity, and our sales team are also a strong part of achieving that.
